  • hey man im still trying to find a tutorial on.. having a background and a picture, so lets say i drew a picture in paint and wanted to make the background on photoshop, how do i take the background away from the first layer and so you can see the background without drawing around ur picture?

    May you let me know how to undo the button of layer mask? I just got my CS4 and the layer mask show the button instead of the white window or black window. So I did not know how it is show inside window, please help me out.

  • How do you know exactly where to to paint the white if the background isn't exactly the same. Won't you get some background showing through that you do not want unless you paint a pixel perfect outline of the cat?

  • hey im following step by step, copied and paisted layers, whats the tab key ? i think i have seen a "tab" key on keyboards before but mine doesnt have one. is there another key that does the same thing. or do i have a tab key but dont know what it is. sorry im still learning computers in general. your help will be appreciated.

    this is a great tut!

    but if you have another idea do tell!

  • use the select tool and copy and paste each picture into the pic u want

  • when you open up photoshop on the top right corner theres the navigator, histogram, and the info but just above those is another set of options as to x it out minimize or maximize just click minimize to see more than 1 photo and click maximize to show only one photo. it may sound complicated but i had the same problem too when i started out lol XD

    i was using fotoshop since long time but never cared what it is.

    i use to do this just by changing the opacity and clearing the unwanted areas.

    now i can do it wid masking.
