Learn to Ski at Dukes Meadows new Skiplex

As a level 4 BASI instructor and having skied and taught on this surface, I am amazed by such rapid learning that is transferrable to snow. I would recommend Skiplex to all those wishing to learn skiing or snowboarding and for those that ski or snowboard, you can hone your skills.

for me as s Swiss.... emm.. THAT looks quite boring (compared to the Alps..)... :P but i get the point -> no real mountains in a county = no learning skiing... but still.. that's NOT the same at all! ;)

The instructor always has a remote so it's super safe! It massively exaggerates bad habits and only lets you get away good technique on yours skis. Made my own snow time wayyyy more fun!

I have tried the skiplex and it massively improved my technique. its a great way to get your ski legs ready for the snow. its a teaching aid not a simulator. it prepares you for the snow, not a substitue for the snow.. Great Fun

That's great because I don't recall anywhere on planet earth where there is a hill that isn't very steep

8times faster my ass.. When on a mountain the terrain is constantly changing when on this mat its constantly the same. I see some things you learn but balancing and adapting to terrain is not one of them.

iI mean it looks cool, and it would be great for starting out on the basics but after that seems relitively useless, i dont understand how they would control speed, and it seems like it would be very easy to fall if you arent going at the same speed as the skiplex, not only very dangerous to fall too
