  • That steel solo was genius

  • This was great. My grandmother played steel quitar back in the old days. She also played a fiddle and banjo. She's been playing all those in God's band since 1969..God rest her soul. I wish the younger country music singers would incorporate the steel guitar in some of their songs. Then maybe I would really think I'm listening to country music.

  • Of COURSE Mike's playing is cool (although it looks like it went off the rails 13 measures into the first ride, but he recovered good), but I LOVE those fiddling double-stops

  • That's where I want to go with my steel: just jamming and it sounds great: (will surely take me some more years.....many years....) I like these vids and would love to see join in live.....

  • Jeff Surratt is playing rhythm guitar, he is also the builder of the Show Pro Steel Guitars which is what Mike is playing in this video.

  • Hank Singer on Fiddle.

Mrs. Mike Johnson (Joanie) on Bass/Vox

  • Hank Singer on Fiddle.

  • Great Video!!

  • OK, everybody knows Mike is awesome! The fiddler is no slouch either. I would like someone to identify him for me.

  • @SteelguitarLane I believe that is Hank Singer. Currently working with Leanne Womack and doing sessions in Nashville
