Ugh. The ignorance about money and economics in these comments. Keep on imagining a simple world where your life would be perfect if only The Man wasn't conspiring to keep you down with "fake money".
The Federal Reserve is NOT owned by the US government and IS owned by PRIVATE individuals. Nice, hu? It cost the fed about 2 cents to print a bill...any bill. Look on youtube here, and you will LEARN how the US citizens were SCREWED the moment the fed came into control. SAD!
The Fed is owned by the US government. It is a Government Sponsored Entity (GSE), like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. The government takes an arms length approach to it operation and the prez appoints the chairman, but it operates independently. The gov't can take over the Fed the way to did Fannie and Freddie without a vote of congress. It's in the Fed's charter.
BTW: the BEP says that it cost 7-cents to produce a Federal Reserve Note.
If you're going to complain, at least get the facts right!
@hurtpuppy "The Fed is owned by the US government. It is a Government Sponsored Entity (GSE), like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae."
No, it actually isn't.
You have to read about the creation of the Federal reserve to understand what it actually is. It's a cartel of bankers. It acts as a private company when it's convenient for them, and a public company when it's convenient for them, but the Federal Government has no constitutional right to create it, or give it power. It's unconstitutional.
Its called Intaglio Printing. A piece of heat softened plastic transfers the plates impression into the plastic. The plastic is immersed in a Nickel plating bath to increase the thickness of the metal. This is called electrotypy. He inks the plate and wipes off excess with a squeegee & a stiff cloth krinlin. He polishes the plate with his chalk powder. The plate is set on his printing press with pre-soaked rag cotton paper on top. The roller prints the dollar bill on the paper.
He just in a way told you how to counterfeit money.. It's done using nickel and electrolysis to make the plate but to make the image for the plate you need the negative side of the bill so it prints off the plate the right way (side)..
hey my name's jessica i've been watching this video for many times and i can't understand what is going on can someone please explain me the hole process in details words of the printing money.
believe me i'm going to make a favor for the first person who explain in good words , you know what i mean a favor right ?

The Fed is a private banking cartel. The govt does not own the Fed, The Fed owns the US govt. You just have it backwards.
