For my money, Alice was the best Champagne Lady. But when Norma Zimmer came along, she basically redefined the whole genre of band singers, bringing to the show a classical approach with her clear-as-a-bell soprano and very formal style and presentation. She's the one who will be forever remembered and celebrated.
