Men have the ability to be much stronger than women, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they take advantage of that fact and stay in shape/build strong muscle. Either way, wrestling isn't all about muscle, it's about skill and technique, and you can't really compare an adolescent male and female when they're both in stages of pubescent development.

Yeah they have done studies for college students and military recruits and men are stronger on average. Of course strength is a bell shaped curve and the stronger women can be ahead of average men. Also, women tend to be smaller which is part of the reason of the strength difference and have less developed upper bodies due to less testosterone. I don't know where you got this idiocy that there are "sexists saying girls can't wrestle." I have never heard or read that anywhere so I have no idea who you are trying to shut up, really.
What most people say is that girls can't wrestle as well as guys. And that happens to be generally true. The fact that some boys will be beat by bigger, more experienced girls at times means nothing. Wake up and smell the coffee.

max that wasn't a "man". And in these wrestling leagues, the girls are paired with boys of closest weight and size - meaning the younger and smaller boys with probably less experience. But I agree - I'd never go so easy on a girl who was that aggressive. I've wrestled a girl who was strong and heavier than me, and she couldn't pin me. Most of these guys just don't seem to be trying much to stay on top.

Of course! A studious athletic girl who has a desire to succeed at anything she tries can become a very competitive wrestler. If she pays close attention during instructions, analyzes what's she's taught, enjoys the art of combat, and practices until she perfects her technique will compete against a boy of similar weight. The problem is; women were shut out of scholastic wrestling for many years.
