I agree whole heatedly with you on all accounts, especially the camera shaking! I had no idea what was happening in the fight scene. It was worse than a Bourne movie.

Theres no competition between Star Trek and Star Wars.
Star Wars has only 6 movies whilst Star Trek has 11 movies plus 5 TV Shows (TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT) with at least 3-4 years filming per series.
"Logic dictates" that there will be more bad parts in Star Trek vs Star Wars because Star Trek has much more years and filming then Star Wars.

ehh, it was okay. Thanks JJ, for hiring camerapeople and giving them seizures before shooting a scene so the camera angles can shake like mad.
I think the real people to thank would be Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman, because the script was the best part of the movie.

i dont mind you saying you like trek more than wars. they're apples and oranges. but to say Star Wars is over... dude. No way! the expanded universe of Star Wars is enormous! Especially when you consider everything stemmed from one trilogy. Like Star Trek, which owes everything to only three seasons, Star wars has ballooned into a juggernaut (beetch) and is far far from over.
