Actually, chaos was garland's final form from final fantasy 1 too, and, im sure, that name was used many times in others too, like cid and unne. dissidia is equal to all the series from final fantasy. Obviously there are a good guy and a bad guy that come from each final fantasy.

The game is full of references which I find very pleasing. When Garland fights Squall he says "I have come to challenge the heart of the lion!" And when Firion faces Ulty he says "Your beauty won't confound me." which is a clear jab at the scene in FFII when Firion was almost seduced by the Limia Queen. So you might actually enjoy this game.

And I must say Ulty has the most impressive final boss fight of all the FF games~

Actually it took the whole party to kill Seph's 2 ultimate forms and supposedly kill him once and for all, but they didnt kill him definately, and omnislash from Cloud to finish him off, though not completely since he can still come back as seen in Advent Children. This guy was really tough with the party-pwning supernova attack that basically left you dying. I say he the most badass antagonist out there, besides he can be beautiful without makeup, unlike Kefka xD lol J/k.
