im currently reading the Blood Ravens omnibus, just started on Assension and so far im loving it. Thinking about starting a Blood Ravens army :] .

-Bad Grammar Below el-o-el- was wondering how do you paint the Blood Chapter Badge how do you make it easier?

i prime it with chaos black spray paint paint it with gore red and then use the was Baal Red, use boltgun metal for the gun and the power pack touch ups , bleached bone for shoulders and the skull,use snot green for the eyes and chaos black for knees and so on, are these good enough colors just for starting out? if not what other colors do i need?

havent read that one yet, who wrote it, btw if you havent read the iron snake one dont read it, it was not very good, when the Captain takes on the main eldar the fight last maybe half of a page maybe less.....

Thanks. I thought the books were okay, I like most of the 40 authors. I wish that it had been written by the same author that wrote the soul drinkers Omnibus, that guy was great! I still like the Blood Ravens though.

where did you get the model?

I converted it out of a standard bearer arm with a plasma gun attached and I used the arm from a missle launcer guy. the rest are just standard marine bits.

my chapter is like the blood ravens, but opposite color. Bleached bone body, red secondary.

I only built the one figure as a test model. I have yet to do anything else. I have thirty marines from the black reach box sets I bought and I am trying to think of what chapter to make them Salamanders, white scars or DIY chapter....

what are all the paints?

Chaos Black (Spray Primer),Clotted red (base coat),Devlan Mud Wash, Carnage Red (hightlights), Boltgun metal, Badab Black wash, Chainmail highlights, Oiled leather, Field Green? scorpion green, lemon yellow? can't remeber all of them. I will list them at the end.

Haha yeah Some people prefer the longer ones.(Damn that sounds nasty) But I prefer the shorter faster vids, mainly cause I'm so busy and dont have much time to watch a set of 10 minutes vids :)
