  • i want a style that is fast and deadly. any help?

  • 5:27 lol dead

  • I use the face to foot style.

  • were you live , it such a beatuful place.

  • the southern praying mantis version of that combo, would be charp sau an upper cut or a knee, your opponent throws a punch and you catch it, and go from charp sau into gow chi

  • Seven star mantis style. I got one on one instruction. Found it very useful for killing mosquitos when camping. my Seifu despaired of me because I would never hit him more than half power. I am a hippie peacenik martial artist. Took it to become better dancer and get in shape. My Seifu wanted a sparring partner. I never strike in anger. My self defense consists of sitting next to the bouncer.

  • nice one, dude.

  • 2:33 haha bitchslap

  • why does his crane look like praying mantis o.O are they similar?

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! Humble suggestions; improve the exterior part (clothing, background, and so on). Why don't you wear something more traditional?

  • are u the dude that plays in breaking bad????

  • I thought that a tiger strike was done with the fingertips and palm, not the fingernails and palm.

  • wow, your the man the king the whole thing!! i can show you my black hole trick!!

  • I must subscribe

  • U R MARVELLOUS MASKDEFENDER ! I DONT KNOW WHO U R & WHERE R U FROM , BUT I SAW ALL YOUR MOVES AND VIDEOS HERE IN YOUTUBE RELATED WITH ALL TECHNIQUES OF FUNG FU KICKS, PUNCHES,JUMPS... ALL THOSE THINGS......... U R TOO GOD BRO ! IT SEEMS U HAV PRACTISED & LEARNED A LOT MY BRO ! I SALUTE U! HATS OFF MAN ! IM FROM KOLKATA,INDIA.

  • For that you might be not the best represtative figure out there. I do appreciate you do not mock about with the Kungfu. It's real and people who practice it will know that immediately. Great job. Keep up the good work. I prefer to mix with the Tiger and fist. Or the styles known as Tsoi Li Ho Fut Hung.

  • crane fist to balls XD

  • inside-out crescent kick + chin = TKO lol

  • OMG. I love him. He's awesome.

The moves are so simple and so effective. All substance and no flash!

  • The thing I find most interesting about kung fu is that most of the techniques are not so useful in sport like kickboxing or mma, but in real life it can be quite effective. Its amazing what difference there is in those strikes (especially to the head) just without the 4 oz gloves. Also the fact that most of those fast strikes are meant for the eyes/throat helps lol

  • is he b boy cloud ?/

  • 4:50 nice mountain view, dont you anoy your neighbours with that?

  • Man your class is amazing and you teach a lot of moves in a shot, these are moves we would spend a lot of time to learn in a school, but here we can learn them in a single shot. Thank you very much teacher. You are a very dedicated teacher and deserve our best compliments. Congratulations for you!!!

  • you look amazing doing every hit! i just can't thank you enough....ino this was my dream since i was young boy.... thank you THANK YOU!

  • Thanks so much for these very lucid and clear demonstrations/explanations!

  • wow man you are great!!!!!!

  • good shit that's A1

  • Very helpful and instructional, thank you very much. Also good technique, it was a pleasure watching.

  • Lol, i keep thinking that at one point in history, a crane rly smackd some1 like that lolz

  • guy is amazing

  • I'm not much into the animal styles other than mantis... but thanks for the kick tutorial. That helps.

  • Okay so grope and hit... jk. :)

  • You are absolutely amazing. Keep it up

  • awesome, pretty balanced because of his knowledge of all three styles.

I really do not want to mess up with you. But i think many ppl who didn't see this movie would because they think you are thin but at all you have good skills =D

  • Would this tiger technique work on a TIGER

  • @SagheerAlNajid1 this guy probably eats tiger for breakfast

  • Cool vid. I faved and subbed. It's kind of you to give this kind of information for free.

  • could you do a vid on some kickboxing strikes?? cuz this stuff clears a lot of stuff up

  • awesome...can i use these techniques to rob old ladies and possibly abuse young puppies?

  • @shaveyourfingers lol...idiot!

  • How long did it take for you to learn all of this?

  • Muito bom, tecnicas tigre garça e dragão são eficientes para derrotar o adverssario.

    Obrigado.

  • You're good man, keep up the training, and stay motivated, and don't listen to the haters.

  • do you all knows...Asian Martial art is unique... =)

lm proud to be Asia ppl.. =D

  • a dragon would just burn you with his fire breath! :)

  • how does one chose a style?

  • @rugedandraw Generally, after 1-3 years (depending upon the school) of background and general Kung Fu, you choose a more specialized animal style based upon your physical and mental traits. Tiger and Dragon styles requires a lot of strength and brute force, while Crane and Snake are better for smaller, more agile people. Leopard (or Panther, depending again on the school) is sort of a middle ground between agility and strength.

  • @rugedandraw great question let me know when you have found an answer lol!

  • great technique,much respect.

  • I SWEAR THSI GUY IS FROM IP MAN 2

  • best pimp slaps ever?

  • I Want To Learn Kung Fu

  • @CHARNEL1991

White Wind Tiger Foundation- Kingman Arizona.

    bets place.

  • wow this one is good..... i love practicing,.. but i cant find a place...

  • I'm very surprised. When I was a kid, I took Tae Kwon Do, and thought different martial arts were variations of what I learned. But I've been looking up the different styles of Kung Fu lately, and it's like speaking a different language. Now I'm interested in taking Kung Fu!

  • Hey Maskdeferder I was wondering if you could tell me wich type of kung fu or martial art I can take cause I want to take something based on tiger style fighting and i just know of Fu jow pai and 5 Animal. Could you please help me?? thank you.

  • nice moves m8 but you really shouldnt show some of the greatest death moves on youtube.....kids will imittade....

  • Now i can see the the damage you can do with kung fu!! thank you

  • nice moves...thx

  • Very good!

  • MD, good video. Beautiful jump kicks, and overall great technique. I would like to point out something that maybe you already noticed. When doing the front high kick, or flick kick as you called it, you bobbed your head a fair bit. This is a telegraph and will tell your opponent what kick you are about to hit with. Bad for fighting or sparring. I thought you might like to know that. Other than that, beautifully done. *bow*

  • Thanks for posting this but 5 animal Kung Fu is bullshit in my opinion. Human Being are not Tigers, snakes or White Cranes. We don't have claws or beaks. Find a good boxing gym learn how to throw a good punch. Then take a year of Karate...learn a front, side, groin and roundhouse kick.

  • Thanks for the Video.

  • genial video one of the most good martial arts tutorials i have seen ever thanks

  • faaaa quien sos GOKU ? !!! LOL

  • Hey, i would love to take up tiger style kung fu to use for fighting. what would you recommend for that?

  • Actually you know what, my comment might have been a bit ignorant, I watched the rest of the video and now I realize what a Crane style of strikes can do with YOUR speed.

  • MUCCCH LOVE and MANY THANKS

  • i was just wondering what styles do you study?

  • thanks 4 the teachin. Lord bless u

  • bajusz gyuri hogy a gecibe nézel ki?? xD

    pfffff.....

    I'm just joking :D

  • Does anyone know of any Tiger style/Animal style dojos in Michigan? :p

  • 8:32 the dummy sighs relief*

  • is this like kong-fu,? cuz i started taking classes for a couple of months and they toght me about thetiger , the crane, and the dragon. and also are u going to show how to block, the punches?

  • You are very skilled, can I ask you what style have you trained and how long ? or do you just have talent? / Shifu M.

  • i noticed a comment regarding sanshou and it being more effective for fighting. i think maybe you are just not taught traditional kungfu properly the tecniques arent simple because other skilled fighters have the capacity to be profound. i teach shaolin kungfu for fighting and it is quite effective aswell as efficient dont waste your time on martial sports theyre not suited to actual combat. wongkk. c o m thats where to visit if you like real kungfu or are interested wong kiew kit explains it

  • Crane hits sure do look dangerous for people with weak wrists.

  • dragon shirts!!

better than wolf shirts since january!

  • would be better to block and hit at the same time wouldnt it?

  • nice fists , very good explanation of the ways they are ment to be used

  • Quick question: I recently signed up for lessons of Tiger Style Kung Fu. I am also interested in taking Tai Chi, to improve breathing, smoothen movements, and feel at one with this energy referred to as chi. The Tai Chi school offers two classes: one is more of the martial art, and incorporates sanshou training, while the second teaches forms. If I am already taking a Kung Fu class, and take the Tai Chi forms class, is there great benefit with the sanshou class for Tai Chi?

  • Sanshou will teaching you fighting application. Its not as fancy as the forms and traditional styles but it much more modern and effective for the present time. Its like kick boxing but with kung fu methods and theories of fighting. If you like that and want to know how to use kung fu techniques to fight then this would be a good class. There will be much more conditioning and sparring most likely if you take the class.

  • @Maskdefender Thank you for this explanation! But what I also forgot to ask was this:

I am studying at two places: One teaches Tiger Style Kung Fu, and is divided into 3 classes a week (two for Kung Fu and one for Qigong.) The other is Tai Chi (which is divided into two classes in the week: one practices the traditional forms, and the other contains Sanshou.)

Would studying at one of these places interfere with doing the same in another, from the point of physical training or getting confused?

  • That depends on you. If you can learn many different ones at the same time then it should be alright. I personally recommend you choose to do one at a time though. Still if you can handle more than one than I would go with doing both. If you can focus and differentiate the styles that is. If not then stick to one style at a time.

  • @Maskdefender Will do. Thank you very much and best wishes!

  • @Maskdefender I looked at a video and you're good, if you could lay down another and that it is more about the tiger style, such as stances, because what you show is very good, but stances are more important.THANKS

  • @Maskdefender Learn more about the word I have given you - it will streangthen your Chakra to the point of a master. :) Peace and blessings!

  • Tepito martial arts

  • isnt this like hung ga kuen?

  • you don't see mexican kung fu teachers very often . nice work .

  • dude omg omg thAT dragon kick was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awosme i loved it i sub i rate i sub more and more:P

  • men your the best!!! Ö

  • People say animal styles kung fu is a silly joke. I am a defender of the animal styles, it's lethal.

  • Nice shirt.

  • yeah you have very nice form and power. Where can you buy one of those dummies

  • Nice man u got some good moves!

  • good tech....

  • Lol your shirt's chinese has very bad grammar.

  • Nice Kungfu! I was looking for a vid like this.

  • Is Crane an effective Martial Art style? With the 3 fingers it doesnt look like your doing much damage.

  • Being an MMA fighter, i find this rather fascinating :) I practice Krav maga too, and i usually punch with my palm roots. I must try and use some of these "claws" :)

  • thanx man it really helped very much :)

  • The Dragon Techniques I want to all move this style is my favorite.

  • dud ethis is sick i love the kung fu styles and this is a very great video you help me to learn new tricks great ^^ will you do the other styles to? but anyways you made great videos keep it up *subbed*

  • Good video, I practice tiger and panther. But It wouldn't hurt to incorporatesome new stuff. You should post some step by step Chinese submissions and breaks

  • throughout the time that he was fighting the dummy, I was thinking (and occasionally saying) OUCH, OUCH, OUCH! OW! JEEZ, WHY?! oh, my...lol

  • Most impressive. I wonder if you could give me the names of the some of the forms and techniques you so ably demonstrate?

    Many thanks

  • Cool stuff

  • nice

  • thanks 4 the instruccion!!

  • thanks for these useful videos. keep posting. my main goal is to develop speed, and this is all helpful when used efficiently and fast

  • man those kicks were awesome! i just wish they didnt hit with the foot. ive accidently kicked people with my foot, instead of the shin, when sparring and have had swelling so bad i could barely walk afterwards. i know, to a degree, you can toughen the body but the foot has just too much going on inside of it to really toughen.

  • @zOmBiEsaRePiMp

do u think that's a ninja? gawd... but in fact, your kung fu is cool

  • WOW!!!!!! yo u'z da shut fa real... where u from!!! i think i need to train wit yo ass for a while to kinda lik upgrade wat i already kno...... iz there any capoeria in your blood(even tho its not one of da deadliest formz of martial arts)

  • Yer the coolest ninja i know!!! XD

  • The kicks would definantly. gives someone an ear infection, or an ear bleed, and crack someone's necks.

  • if u beleive in yourself and know your own strength and the reach u have u can be very effective. takes much dedication. i am dedicated to learning tiger claw. just want to find a real master

  • message me back 2 my profile on how 2 get one of those human like hitting bags or where 2 get one.......please.....thank u

  • very nice and informative.could you possibly make a drunken fist video please?

  • Thats good stuff man and your a good teacher. Get some video of you kickin someones ass that would be cool. :-)

  • so u grab the balls then hit? o-o

  • nice 1

  • Hey!

I'm wondering, wouldn't a crane strike be more efficient to the groin than a tiger strike?

Best part is when you're all like: oops too high. For some reason... I dont have that prolem! :D

  • 5:05 HADOUKEN!!!

  • If you see an Asian guy on the streets wearing a dragon shirt and a cap: Watch out or you might get yourself killed :D

  • thank you for this--i used a lot of those techniques but never knew what they were or that others used them-

you showed me the names and some others i can incorporate!!

  • 5.13 UFO in the background?

  • Very informative. I've been wondering about Tiger and Dragon for the longest time.

  • How important do you think iron palm training is for these hand movements?

  • Great video!

  • your chi isnt that good. i once saw a man absorb a bolt of lightning with his chi.

  • Dude you are really cool=)

  • This is the best technique video I have ever seen. I have studied crane techniques from a black belt friend if mines but I am realy interested in tiger techniques. If you can post as many tiger videos you can I would be most greatfull. *bow*

  • Well,

i've seen a few of your vids now & i noticed that you should have many more watches if you use more labels, the vids are fine, but they are to hard to find. But i'm waiting for more of your stretching exercices, i want to be more flexible for kikboxing / muay thai practicing. Keep the good work!

  • guignole

  • sucks to be that dummy.

  • This guy is a Fight Machine.

  • Excellent, my friend. You seem to know a lot about the mechanics of Chi, and how Chi can influence martial arts.

I'm liking your videos, keep it up! :D

  • wow

hey, u are pretty good actually

  • i really want to know more about the tiger style i cant really find videos on it

i learn some basic thai boxing but i still love tiger style the most but sadly there is no place to learn can u show me more? ya maybe show us more of your leg movement rather then only your upper body as i can only learn the top part but dont know any of the lower movements THANKS^^

  • thanxxx for the tutorial

  • My kung-fu teacher teaches us Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Dragon and Snake :D

I'm thinking about doing Leopard because it's fast and I can hit hard with my palm. (says he)

  • good job mate. focus the qi for creation. not destruction. the old ways of violence you demonstrate are excellent. but saddening.

  • do you know the eagle claw?

  • I have just watched a few of your videos and what i have noticed is for you (please do not be offended) being thin, you have some power and i can see you are barely trying, is this chi?

  • Yes Chi is the overall simple answer. But hardly anyone explains what is really happening to create chi. It takes a lot of time and practice to cultivate Chi which is basically the internal transfer of force in the most efficient way project it into the target without any loss in power. I'm in college studying to be an ESS (Exercise and Sports Science) Major and go into Kinesiology or Biomechanics. To learn how the body moves and produces forceful power effectively. To analyze what we call Chi.

  • @Maskdefender can you recommend any finger strengthening techniques for tiger throat attacks? i sometimes hit a board with my fingers in eagle claw/tiger claw position but i dont know if i am doing it right?

    thxs!

  • @Maskdefender wooow in my country even exist some like this!!!

    very good!!!!

saludos desde chile, sorry my english

  • So far I've found many different factors that contribute to this production of energy. The ground, fast twitch muscles, organs, heart, bones, positioning, torque, multiplying energy chain, closed loop control in nerves. nerve firing muscle memory reflexes to the neuromuscular spindle each muscle fiber. recruiting new motor units, increasing CSA (Cross Sectional Area) or Atrophy of muscles for more mass and easier movement. but not to much increase in CSA. Correctly sequenced muscle contractions.

  • @Maskdefender These videos are very good i think the explanation followed up by the repetition is great and by any chance are you a Taoist or Busshist

  • @Maskdefender I think it's call isometric strength I read about it not to sure what book but, apparently Bruce Lee had it as well, and you are my idol to making my kicks faster thanks to your training video.

    Thanks

  • @bizzyfingers its also called lean muscle, the people that pump iron and weights all day are not very strong. theyre just good at lifting weights. Kung Fu is not about growing unnatural muscle like that. Thing is strong.

  • @bizzyfingers You build a different kind of muscle when you're a practitioner of kung fu. You can train and train and become stronger and stronger and not visibly gain any muscle! Be careful of the thin ones!

  • i want to learn this does any one know where you can in new jersey

  • i want to learn this does any one know where you can in new jersey

  • where can u buy that dummy?(:

    nice tutorial! 5/5

  • i learned this doing karate and xing yi quan there cool

  • The power and grace of Bruce Lee! Shaka Brah ............ Haven't seen anything better to train in martial arts defense techniques.

  • Great vid! I like how you make everything sound "intuitive." Many people make the 5 animal styles sound so complex when they're really pretty simple. As Grandmaster Chiu Chi Lin says "Hung Gar is easy" lol

  • Nice shirt and great tutorial! congratulation!

  • nice shirt. where did u get it

  • nice, entertaining to watch, very informative, great video man

  • thank you for the lesson ;- )

  • I have been looking to purchase one of those dummies, any suggestions of a store?

  • thanks alot for these vidoes.. really helpful!!

  • heh i heard of "dragon whips tail" wat is that

  • thats a great video

  • Thanks for posting this, it shows some of the subtleties of chinese arts' movements that those unfamiliar with them would probably miss watching most videos.
