@BowskinArchery i live on a place called Guam...i can actually make a reflex deflex bow cause we have a home depot, but still dont know some stuff and dont have all the necessary equipment im not too sure if we have a bow shop by the way
@BowskinArchery I was wondering what does serving the bow string do??? I'm really interested in learning the art of fletching, but we have no one or school on our island that can teach me, so i have no guidance
Hey thats raw mii dad is going to take me huntin 1 day and imma start off small huntin a rabbitt. were goin to make a recurve bow. can you make a video showin how 2 do that? my dad said im weird hor a girl.. i don't think so i just like to do new things:)
that really helps. the only thing im not sure on it how to go about serving the loops at each end and how to make the loop and the tag end of the string, with out just tieing a knot? thanks for posting
@82f150 no knots. it's all over lapping and reverse twisting, persay. I will post another video, focusing just on these two, the begining and the end, hope fully it will get a better focus this time too. hope it will help.
@BowskinArchery well i understood the serving part but when you buy a bowstring they serve the loops at each end of the string. you showed us how to make one loop at one end of the string but the other end im not sure on how to make that loop.
@82f150 Those are done for endless string type, this is a flemish. I'll do one later on endless loop type to demonstrate, they are actually quite easy, i say that after i found 100 way to NOT make one though....
Very good job ! Nice and EZ

@muaythaifutbol it protects the string rom abrasion, since tis part is acted upon by the nock of the arrows and our fingers...What island?

@TheLefty94 I plan on it. If it is your first time making a bow though, I recomend attempting a longbow.
