I've got Topspin 4 as well as Virtua Tennis 4 - Virtua Tennis 4 should have been released under it's proper name - Virtually Rubbish! It really is! What a pathetic tennis game! It's not designed for the move all all - it's an afterthought. How can you play a game of tennis by just swinging your racket, surely you need to have the abitlity to move the player yourself. This is not realistic at all. Would you play fifa 11 if you only had to press a button to shoot for goal?! I don't think so..

I like Sega, the Virtua Tennis series has been fun over the years but nothing can compare to Top Spin. I've played the beta for VT4 and wasn't that much different to the last one.

Virtua tennis is more for weekend warriors with the unrealistic arcadey style where as Top spin caters for those who are after a more realistic gameplay.

Sega should stick to making more old school style games like the Vancover Olympics. Maybe a re-vamped California games would work?

As for tennis, Top spin anyday!

...everything about this game looks crap...roster is crap, gameplay is crap (even VT 2009 is better) graphics didn't change, nothing new all the same shit...if this game had decent roster, which would include atleast Stosur, Schiavone or Henin than i would consider buying it...Top Spin 4 seem to have bad roster too, but atleast gameplay changed and more stuff implemented, plus there's Sampras, Rafter and Agassi...
