  • Such a risky sport...glad everyone was OK.

  • What was the order of finish?

    What happened to the horses?

It is sad when this happens.

  • It is great to see that Eric made a remarkable recovery and is back at Yonkers and the big M! With some of the joke mounts he gets, he is one of the best drivers in the country, hitting the board with countless long shots. i am one of his biggest fans!

  • Im glad that only one set of injuries occured and none of the horses were destroyed. This announcer is such a wise guy normally but this showed his humane side and was most professional and caring during this race. Larry you are my favorite caller. One time during a battle for early lead, Larry says "In a raging battle will it be Clay Aiken or Reuben Stoddard". And my favorite was "Its Sand Wedge in front, and in front by a 3 wood".

  • Just making sure... None of the ohrse died?

  • Couldn't agree more. This announcer is one of the best the business has!

  • Larry did a great job on calling this race even though it was marred by a spill and went on to call it with 3 horses in the race

  • Not only that, but Larry is discreet enough to express the worthlessness of the race at that particular point in time while also showing such GENUINE concern for the drivers and horses. What a pro!

  • yes..i hate when the announcer never even aggnoledge a horse has gone down.

  • All horses are said to be ok. Eric Abatiello Sufferered 5 broken ribs, Ruptured Spleen, and Punctured Lung. Brennan and bartlett were ok
