  • Has she had her kittens yet? If she did, how many did she have?

  • Its a Bengal cat mixed with domestic cats. They are selectively breeding the cats for their markings and bone structure to resemble tigers & to raise awareness about real endangered tigers.

  • what a beauty :O

  • Toygers aren't really mixed with tigers are they? I think it was breeding cats with similar tiger traits with each other to make them look like that. Or you could call it selective breeding.

  • doesnt look much like a tiger except for the leg stripes

  • I've seen some for a few hundred but their only a few weeks old and I'm pretty sure it's from a reliable site lol do u tink it could be reliable too?

  • shes like......LET GO OF THAT CAMERA AND PET ME.

  • I WANT ONE...! These are the coolest cats ever. Probably really expensive too...

  • @LunarVegan you my friend are retarded, its obvious she loves her cat and umm didnt seem to be treating her as a poor creature at all.., and she is contributing to increasing the breeds numbers by taking her to a responsible certified breeder. lol it seems if you had it your way every cat would be fixed and they would eventually be no more. :(

  • @LunarVegan lol you're a moron.. it's a purebreed cat and she's going to breed it... dumbass. lol

  • Are they pretty good with the family? And are they aggressive toward other cats in the household?

  • Someone ought to introduce She-Ra to Cat from Red Dwarf.

  • That is a beautiful breed

  • What a fantastic cat!

  • haha somebody should introduce her to Cat from Red Dwarf!

  • what a beautiful kitty!!! poor baby wants some boy lovin!

  • how much is a Toyger

  • how much does a cat like this cost? i know the savannah cats are anywhere from 600 to 20,000 depending on breeding.

im all for adopting. but you arn't gana find one of these in a shelter....

  • @briauc

I got my Toyger from a shelter but I was extremely lucky and they didnt list her as a Toyger, it was only because I knew someone who worked there and they put me on to her as they knew I was considering one or a Savannah.

She is the most amazing cat, so intelligent and affectionate!

  • The reason why she kept hitting the camera with her head was because that is how they show affection, with soft head bumps

  • Que rikura! =D

  • its just a coat colour its not even cross bred with any wild species(toygers)

  • Bengal Tabby cross!

  • well i have a toyger i adopted from a breeder he was 3 when i got him and more than 30lbs and i love him ... I'm all about helping animals in shelter's but if you choose to buy you have the right ... when i adopted mine i didnt spend more than 300 on his adoption

  • do they get bigger than that? or is this there full growth?

  • she`s amazing :)

  • she SOUNDS like a tiger. ^_^

good luck with the kittens btw.

  • What a beautiful cat! I love her name, it makes me smile :)

  • Man, all you people are complaining about strays...Do you understand how much a cat like that costs?! The strays will go to us poor people who can't afford a cat like that. Get over it

  • lol!!!! ib3t that cats like.. "WTF D0 U WANT!?!? U HAVE BEEN CALLING MAI NAME FOR EVER NOW!!"

  • My final statement on the subject is this: I KNOW that you people that love the fancy cats DON'T WANT a stray and that you do want a "special" cat. What I'm saying is, it's not right to just move on to newer and better cats when WE (people; you and I) are responsible for the ones already here. You don't have a reason good enough to justify killing the strays so you can have something special. You want to believe it's not you, but it is. If you breed your pet, strays WILL die.

  • it is terrible that there are so many stray cat. But a person/pet owner is free to do what they wish...bottom line these breeder will keep breeding and if good pet owners did buy these cats they would also be strays. I own to Bengals and they are the best pets I have ever owned

  • Oh wow, I just read that Sherah here was being "taken in for breeding" the next day after this video. So, you're not a professional breeder are you? It will be interesting to hear whether the kittens all get fine homes. Just remember that all those homes could have chosen a stray but now they won't. So what will happen to those strays?

  • Okay, I think everyone has seen your point now. Yes, it is great to get an animal from a shelter. I would much rather do that. But I would love to have a Toyger sometime in the future. People have their own rights, and you should respect their decisions rather than chastise them.

  • @DCP - Dear Doody, It's not that I want to keep going on and on. It's just that someone makes a dumb reply or false argument and - what am I supposed to do then? For example your comment that people have rights and I should respect them and not chastise. Okay, that's three points. Here I go 1. For every right you have a responsibility. 2. I respect people based on their choices and actions 3. I don't chastise, but I could. How can people let pets die just to have something rare?

  • I understand where you're coming from, really. And I agree with you. Like I stated before, I'd much rather adopt an animal from a shelter than get one from a breeder. If you think about it, I'm sure that someday these exotic animals will be apart of the strays on the street =\ because someone wouldn't have been educated enough on them, and realized too late they couldn't handle them. It's sad, but true. Because that's what happens all the time.

  • Thanks. I feel like you are the first person I've had a reasonable exchange with. Here's an example that supports your idea. Sharpeis were very rare the first time I saw one. There were only a handful in the whole country. Within three years, just a little less, I started seeing them at the animal shelter where I worked. Then under a year after that there were so many pure and mixed sharpeis we just couldn't find any homes for them.

  • That's horrible =[

  • So, did SheRa have a litter? Got any videos? They must be cute. Did they all get "lifetime homes"?

  • nice kitty!

  • my cat would go crazy! he would love her! lolz

  • If somebody were to create a cheetoy, would it be able to run fast?

  • Man... people are so slow!!! breed that thing with a savannah cat and then later a fluffier cat to get that coat around the face THEN, THEN youll get the best lookin toyger eva!!!

  • That is one horny cat.

  • Best looking Toyger I've seen yet. Would love some breeder information.

  • For every dog or cat you buy, one dies in a shelter. This is an irreducible fact. For every puppy or kitty you bring into this world, a dog or a cat will die in a shelter. This is a non-debatable fact.

  • @jcisbell For every dog or cat you adopt from a shelter, that's one "free to good home" pet that gets thrown out of someone's home. For every sandwich you eat, that's one sandwich that a starving child doesn't get to eat.

It's sad that animals die in shelters, but that doesn't make it wrong to buy a purebred pet and give it a loving home.

  • Yeah, it pretty much does. Your "arguments" do not address that fact. All I'm saying is - think about a rescue animal first. At least consider adopting a homeless pet before buying one. And for breeders, go ahead, breed, but be aware that every pet you sell takes the place of a shelter animal that could have gone to that home. And, given that there are never enough homes, that means one in a shelter will die for every one purchased. You can't escape it. It's simple math.

  • Personally I believe the real problem to be capitalism.

If it wasn't so expensive to properly care for an animal there wouldn't be so many of them in shelters.

Breeders should be careful of the supply and demand aspect of the business as well. Backround checks on potential pet parents wouldn't be a bad idea either, but there are too many people more interested in the almighty buck than what happens to animals or even people.

  • I agree with your attitude but the main things a cat needs are 1. love 2. food & water 3. to be spayed or neutered 4 to be kept indoors.

There are free spay neuter clinics all over the place if you look. Then your cats, like mine will be happy secure and healthy.

  • @jcisbell There might be where you're from, but not where I live. No free animal care here, lol, man that sounds like a fairy tail!

I've paid out thousands of dollars in vets bills. Good food ain't cheap either. I had a male maine coon, I had to put him on a special diet. His food for one week was $80.

Even the pet adoption services here have fees.

Too much profiteering. We all suffer for it.

  • would you be happy if your parents had fixed you?

  • No! But I guess I would be happy if your Dad was fixed! :)

  • @jcisbell All of my pets have been adopted rescue animals. However, saying that people shouldn't breed cats because there are cats out there to be adopted is like saying humans should not have anymore babies because there are children out there to be adopted. I probably WILL adopt a child rather than have my own, just as I have with pets, but that doesn't mean that people don't still want their own children.. just like there is a desire for certain breeds of cats.

  • There are those who say we shouldn't have children as long as there are babies who need homes. What I'm saying is different. Pets were bred by people - not by themselves - that makes humanity responsible. So, what we "desire" like a fancy new cat, is not as important as our responsibility to take care of the mess we've made - first. Let's get them strays a home kids and then we'll all march down and get us a toyger!

  • One more thing :) Yes it is true that people WANT that. That's what I'm saying. Those people who want that should compare their desire to their responsibility. It's not easy and (when it comes to children) it's not simple. But with pets it is simple at least.

  • At the time I write this I have a -4 thumbs down. I want you to read my post and ask yourself why that gets all those thumbs down. The truth hurts. But attacking me won't change it.

  • she is so fucing CUTE!!

  • what a weird purr

  • piękny!

  • bardzo tez chcialbym takiego

  • I have a toyger he's big 26 lbs and super sweet but smarter than mother other cats and very vocal everytime I walk into the room he starts talking to me telling me how is day was lol these cats are awsome and very beautiful mine is built like a mini tiger for real and heads turn everytime I walk him at the park lol and I didnt have to pay thousands of dollars for him I adopted him from a breeder and paid to have him shipped all together about 700.00 which isnt bad at all .

  • I loved reading your comment. so cute. i bet hes adorable. this cat in the video is a cutie pie too.

  • So, what exactly is she? She looks like she just has a lot of Savannah in her or something, she looks like a F2.

  • She's a pure breed Toyger, which is a type of tabbi. (It's a type of short haired tabbi that was bred in 1990 something and is now considered it's own breed and has 'champion ship status', meaning it is now a world wide recegnized breed)

  • such a velvety, orange coat, like a real tiger! :D

  • That cat is beautiful. Is it just as friendly and safe as the average domestic cat?

  • Very friendly and safe, but definitely not the average domestic cat ;). She is also more sensitive to environmental movement than my other house cats.

  • @thedondadah waht do u mean by sensitve to env movment?

  • Yep, considering the fact that she is a normal domestic, a toyger is a breed of tabbi cats.

  • Loving little kitty cat, she looks Happy : )
