  • Theoretically speaking if you live in the present but go to live in the past you could actually visit your own grave in the time you were born in. So you would be both alive and dead at same time? :Head explodes:

  • So technically, SHE IS his great great great great grandmother??!! Who he dated? Yikes! Whats that all about??!!

  • I wish those Otis scenes were in the movie. It would have given everyone a sense of how important Otis might have been to leopold. it would've been way better

  • Maaaan Hugh is hooooooot

  • OMG HE'S SO HOT!!! :O

  • I saw this on tv, and a lot of these scenes were in it.

  • hm, i just saw this movie, which was great, but some of these "deleted scenes" were in there. idk, is there another version of the movie?

  • heh heh otis! as in otis elevators!

  • Can Someone put the whole movie on youtube with putting the deleted scenes in them? (Sorry if my english is bad)

  • gee! i dont get why they couldn't have just completely left out that whole thing about them being related! i mean, maybe stuart was tracking him because he was fascinated by him as a historical figure or something instead of him being his great great great grandfather...

  • @mysweetsmile23 cuz it makes the character, Stuart, care more about putting things back to how they were, or how they are supposed to be. that's why he is so eager to get Leopold back because if he doesnt, well, he wouldn't exist. yes, he cares about the other things that might happen, but his life is still one of those main things. people care more if it directly involves them than a complete stranger

  • @ABAundertaker They fixed that for the movie, because it would have had Staurt and Kate dating, with her his great-great grandmother.

I believe the implication became that OTIS was Stuart's ancestor, as well as the inventor of the elevator, which was disrupted a bit when Leopold time-travelled.

They did the fantasy part very well here.

  • SERIOUSLY, IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE WITH A BODY THAT SENSUOUS, YOU NEED TO KEEP THE BATH TUB SCENE! I can kind of see why they took it out, though. It did kind of make Leopold look haughty to be snapping at his servant. I still love the movie "Kate and Leopold" though. They should have kept the bath tub part and just put different words with it. I wish they would have shown more of his body though.

  • why have they delated the first one? O.O

  • díky za tohle video, dívám se taky abych si cvičila angličtinu, ale pár slovům teda nerozumím, škoda že to neni s anglickýma titulkama

(english) thanks for this video, I watch this also to practise my english , but I can´t understand some words, I´d like to watch this with english subtitles

  • Na DVD, z kterého to mám, bohužel nebyly žádné titulky, ani české, ani anglické. Taky mě to docela štve, ale někdy stačí se podívat několikrát a porozumíš.... ne vždy záleží na slovíčkách :-)

  • yea it is the same dress they just added a train thingy to the back made the straps a bit thicker and put black lace on it....no biggie

  • Thank you for posting. I'm having the movie on demand and though I've seen it before, I can't help but watch it over again.

  • LOL!

  • she already had s-e-x with her great-great-great-...-grandmother?! of course, stuart didn't know that yet until leopold came to the present. haha! but, i mean, his great-great-...grandmother. All of it was supposed to happen then, right? -all of the going back in time thing?

  • okay, like why the heck was hugh jackman in a bathtub deleted from the movie? seriously, that would've added something. :D

  • The music at the beginning of this video clip sounds like the music off of Beatlejuice.

  • Why did they deleted the scene of Hugh in the bad? Damn, he's hot! But still like Liev and Hugh better in Wolverine!

  • crepy that last scene of she is you´r great great.....

  • The entire time continuum doesn't make ANY sense in this movie- even the continuity is appalling. Example: Leo is from 1867 yet many of the things he mentions, like La Boheme, didn't come out till much later in the Victorian era. As well, Kate's dress when she goes back in time magically changes into a Victorian gown with a bustle. If you can just ignore all the continuity errors and historical discrepancy, the movie is fun.

  • Maby she changed, she would also be soaked too you know :)

  • no. her dress didnt change. she still had the same dress on... it was grey and long, sleeveless. but there is the fact that if leopold went to the exact day he left, he shud have been in the day twice at the same time: there shud have been two of him walking around doing the same thing. but tht ddnt happen.

  • Her dress does change, but not much. It is still the same colour and almost the same style, but if you look at the back of it it is a different dress to the one she's wearing when she gives the speech lol

  • oh. well its hard to tell. lol. n i not seen quite all of it cuz tehre are bits missing. bt thnks for clearing it up :)

  • why does the elevator disappear, but everyone still knows what an elevator is?

  • I don't think the elevator disappeared. I think it just stopped working. Did it disappear? Maybe I missed it. But I got the impression that the elevators just stopped working.

  • maybe... but if they just stopped working, wouldn't the doors not open, either?

but also... why would Leopold not being in his time, but in our time, when he's SUPPOSED to be in our time at this point anyway, screw up the way the elevator works?

  • Lol, good point. I have no idea. Maybe it's just one of the not-so-well thought out portions of the movie.

  • Leo didn't invent the elevator DOORS. He invented the pulley system that operates the elevator.

And y'see, it WAS inevitable that Leopold leave and then go back, but by jumping to 2001 without having actually invented the elevator, the gaps between 1876 and 2001 were left unfilled by him. He didn't LIVE the time in between. But because people that knew how the elevator worked still existed in 2001 and can't exactly unlearn the knowledge the elevator didn't actually disappear.

  • But then that would also mean Stuart shouldn't exist anymore....

I dunno, maybe it was for the purpose really of the story.

  • That is some AMAZING hair on Hugh ):<

  • Man Hugh was and still is so hot. Man he's one of the sexiest men alive

  • they cut out a bath scene with hugh? what were they thinking?!

    ;)

  • AGREED

  • i agree, not only cause hugh+bath=hot, but also because it makes so much sense!

i really love that there's the modern-day pen in it, and how he runs up the stairs with the modern-day clothes, you don't really catch that at the beginning of the movie! i think this makes a lot of things understandable, they shouldn't have cut it out =/

  • I know! lol

Btw great thank you for uploading, i can go to sleep HAPPY XD

  • @shmanya seems like they weren't thinking!!

  • @shmanya agreed :P

  • @shmanya

I know... I would have loved to have watched that...
