I disagree. The concept of redemption is clearly shown in the character of Gail Wynand (Fountainhead). It says that you stop doing the wrong things, you need to start fresh, you need to do the right things(without brooding over the past). It was the moment, when Wynand had to make a choice of supporting Howard(the right thing) and consequently shutting his paper or to give up. He gave up. It was also the moment when Dominique left him.
