which india is mr. kumar vishwas living in? india of slum dog millionaire is part of the reality, even if it may not be the whole reality! and as far as i remember the movie never said this was THE ONLY REALITY! please... be realistic, it's nice to be patriotic but also irrational to deny the truth!
Dr. Vishwas, you are a big man now. Please pay a little attention on what you are saying. It may adversly affect overall develoment of an area; normally you pass many comments regarding UP-may be partiall true also, but by these comments you are not going to improve the situation in you mother town or home state. Inspite, if any body is planning to invest money he may be afraid. So behave like a son of soil not like an outsider always critisizing the situation.
what u are saying makes no sense whatsoever. If something is wrong, just staying silent wont make it better. And people invest money at a place not because few people say it is better, but because it is actually better for investing. Trying to make situation is much more "son of the soil" instead of turning a blind eye to everything and saying everything is good
@sudhanshu1969 son-of-the-soil is not a UPit, Maharashtrian, Rajasthani or Gujarati. remember we are all Indians, and that is what this guy tries to tell everyone...if you dont get it then please dont comment here.
But I agree difference in rich and poor is very high,Slumdoc is offcource a picture of a particular section of Society, but U may find more wealthy and well to do peoples as compared to your country, saying shit sitting far away on basis of a moovie is easy then managing country of such huge dimensions in evry field, we are growing speedly......JAI HIND

Dr. kumar Vishwas doesnt know about the india.. slumdog is the real indian movie.. india is like this dr. should know the 75% of the indian population is villager and if you go throught the village you will find the dirty india ther is nothing improved here. don't talke about india.. one you know the real india you will definatly cry Dr. vishwas. you are noting just fullish persone. i will call you the Man of BLINDFAITH.

Kumar Vishvas is 100% correct. He is a sensible person and understands mental situation of a father, who lost his son. After such loss one parents will refuse to meet even PM.
I think the comment above is the only sensible comment, I mean what do you expect from the CM, put yourself in his shoes for a moment and think. If he hadnt gone, everyone would have cried foul, he went to express his condolences, what else did his father wanted. Kumar Vishwas and media is just saying that everyone likes to hear. Please start thinking logically
Sense of humour is good, but humours need more analysis. For instance, it was the father of Maj Unnikrishnan who first refused to entertain visit of Kerala Chief Minister. I guess, the father didn't want his son's role to be reduced within a small state like Kerala - he was taking pride in his son's sacrifice for a nation. I was just wondering what this father would have done if a Panchayat member from his ancestral home in Kerala would have gone there to pay homage to the sacrifice.
The Kerala CM did not go their until after there was big hue and cry in Kerala. And regardless of that, if Major Sandeep's father did not want to see the CM then that is his right. The Kerala CM had no business to impose himself and then use derogatory language for a father who was mourning his sons great sacrifice.
I would have appreciated if that was the case. But the fact is Mr Unnikrishnan confronted CM and the media personnel accompanying him by saying that "no dogs would be allowed into his house". Later on, when some reporter asked CM, how he felt when he was compared with a dog, the CM replied that "I went there because it happened to be Major Sandeep's house who made a sacrifice. Had it not been Major Sandeep's house, no dogs would have visited Mr Unnikrishnan".
All these are there in media - I guess in YouTube as well. Regarding why the late visit, I do not know. I guess they were settled in B'lore long back. But Maj Sandeep is a national servant by virtue of being in service - his father cannot reduce his status to own Maj as own property - Maj Sandeep receives public money for serving nation and so does Kerala CM - he too is a public servant.
By your logic, if someone takes a public service job then he become property of the state? The parents do not have the first right on him anymore ? Does not seem to make any sense to me.
And how do you compare a public service like Armed forces with Politicians. Politicians are crooks and opportunist of the first order (and I am being very lenient in my opinion). Whereas it requires courage to be a soldier. One has to be ready to give the supreme sacrifice. How can you compare the two!
Protocols are not rules that have to be followed under all circumstances. Furthermore, there is no protocol that the state CM has to visit a slain soldier. These things have been recently started as political gimmicks.
A visit by a CM to a soldiers' grieving parents is covered under protocols - otherwise a CM cannot go there. Thus its the visit that becomes the protocol - which has to be honoured by the parents. Mr Unnikrishnan has no right to make disrespectful comments towards CM of a state. Its a plain example of unbecoming of a citizen, and that too a retired service personnel from the central services, who is aware of such protocols and rules binding him.
Lastly, in my personal observation - it could be false - I didn't see remorse of losing a child in the fatherhood of Mr Unnikrishnan - whereas I could see the tragedy struck mother. If that is right, then Mr Unnikrishnan was acting out a script that he written on his own, much ahead, and just awaited for the opportunity. This should be condemned, if true. One should praise the CM's officials for not raising an FIR against Mr Unnikrishnan for making derogatory remarks about a CM.

Protocols need to be honoured as long you enjoy the fruits of public money. Mr Unnikrishnan is no illiterate - he's an ex-ISRO personnel.

@CabcK there is no need to fulfill protocols my friend
just ask a father what is going on him when his son goes sacrifise on country and CM only coming for his protocol
