its sad to see the H2 days are gone and we will never get them back unless we play on PC.. H2 was shut down merely because of noobs and bungie. to many ppl complained about the BXR and double-shot.. and bungie took it down because they knew no one would move on from that game and buy H3. I just hope 343 industries doesn't remake the game and let Bungie use the Reach servers for online.. imo they don't even need to touch the game just bring it back out the way it was but slap a Xbox360 tag on it.

@kehenderson88 No, Microsoft took the game's multiplayer down because the servers for the original xbox and the xbox 360 are completely different, and Microsoft wanted to upgrade and discard the multiplayer servers for the original xbox. Any original xbox game with a multiplayer had it shut down, not just H2.

@DjRadioIbles yea I know it wasn't just halo 2 that got shut down but why didn't Bungie just throw Halo 2 over to an xbox360 version and keep everything the same then transfer everything over to the new servers? they would have made a killing. But the problem is that look how many ppl stayed on H2 after H3's release... it wasn't the people that just couldn't afford the new game but it was the fact that H2 was the best and ppl that bought H3 turned right around and put H2 back in there disc trays

@kehenderson88 Either it was too difficult to change the coding, or they figured the effort wasn't worth it since there weren't that many people on at the time. It's like H3 is now, only a few thousand were on. If you really want to play H2 go and get Halo 2 vista.

I think the hackers made it a little better believe it or not. I mean now you can hit top rank no problem, Sometimes they just really suck even if they were 50's or Inheritors. But in Halo 2 if you were a 33- 37 you were amazing, anything higher, You cheated, which also wasn't always the case. but most of the time. I miss Halo 2 soo much
