IT and prodigy should rap together, prodigy is clean from the lifestyle, and same with dmx, who leaving jail in a few days, so all the former signed rappers who are now killuminati should collab w/ IT
Technique is real. He doesn't rap about weed, cars, money like all em other gimmick rappers, he raps about life. there are very few rappers that still do that, and the only ones that did were the ones labelled as the best (Pac, Em, B.I.G), definetly can put Immortal Technique in your top 5 rappers. He inspires me to see what's really going on in life.
true that technique raps about real stuff, but i'm not sure about those others
pac rapped about women, money and cars a lot
em has a good amount of songs about bashing women...even though that is HIS life, i don't think its all that relevant
biggie rapped about crack. 10 crack commandments. granted, thats not all he did, but those are the old school rappers (cept em) who rapped about their hard lives, but are still real
you should check out some underground- wax, dumbfoundead, lowkey
Haha yeah i'm not saying they aren't talented because they (em, pac, biggie) are legends who heralded gangster rap. Hm...how about Lupe Fiasco? Or K'naan. K'naan didn't grow up in ghetto US, but he did grow up in the war-torn somalia. But Lupe definitely is legit, and I don't really remember him rapping about weed/cars/women. But I think he's an exception. Yeah, immortal technique still actually guest MC's this battle league called Grind Time. Definitely got major respect for that guy.
I think he just gave an almost perfect answer to the question. When does urban warfare come out? Myself I am inspired by writings, history, and the indigenous struggles that continue daily that I never knew about and that just goes to show what kind of world we live in. That I could of went twenty some years and all I ever knew were the teachings of small town elementary and that my family told me the land was stolen. Nothing deep though even if I wanted it

@ChanimalCrackers mate, when you think about it every rapper starts off rappin bout the usual (weed, cars, women)
immortal tech quickly switched to real world rapping
Em has his new album recovery going against Illuminati. other than that, yeah he rapped about beating women alot.
Pac? he didn't rap about the goverment and issues much, but he talked about it ALOT. watch his interviews.
and his songs like Me against the world and "keep ya head up" are very inspiring.

@ChanimalCrackers B.I.G was a legend for the way he raps despite what it was about.
but in general yea most rappers that rap about the real world get killed/put in jail (Em, pac, dmx)
immortal tech's not mainstream and still gaining lotsa fans. thats pretty mad
