What if you removed the implant and tried ossification of the area with bonegrafting.. i think if would have solved many issues. Like food impaction with a complete new crown( theres lots of recession on the lingual but i think it might work) On the prior x-ray theres 2/3 left of the bone level from CEJ Mesial looks ok.
Im an RDH. I thought it would be best that way just common sense..

Ever tried removing well integrated implants? In this case we did not have to although in other instances we have done just what you have suggested.
