Abortion as a form of birth control is both inefficient and unhealthy. While I would never advise someone to use abortion as their primary form of birth control it's their right I guess.
Why is using abortion as your only form of birth control asinine? Because pregnancy isn't the only risk associated with unprotected sex. Abortion in no way protects against any STDs. Unless you want AIDS, herpes, or whatever but don't want babies. In which case... feel free, I guess?

1. Rape.
2. Incest.
