btw. I just wanted to let you know that the first time I stepped on stage I was 9 yrs. old. I'm now 46. So I'm speaking from experience. A LOT of experience. LOL I play lots of types of music. When folks ask me what kind? I say, "If it pays, I plays" As for instruments I play: clarinet, alto sax, guitar, keyboards, trap set drum, hand drums. I esp. love the African Djembe and playing it in a drumming circle around a fire with folks dancing to our drumming. It's trance dance and it's awesome!

The reason they never find work is this: In a band all the band members have to split the money at the end of a gig. That with ANY type of music! So bands and agents etc. all prefer to hire someone who has a gr8 voice AND PLAYS AT LEAST ONE INSTRUMENT preferably more. Because that makes them more versatile! So that's who they'll share the check with!
