I just had a HAFA get denied after a huge mistake on behalf of BofA. After a SSA was sent to the borrower, signed and returned...a "second" type of program or traditional short sale was included in Equator. So this property had both a HAFA and traditional SS at the same time on Equator! I had called BofA to have them cancel the SS and what did they do? They cancelled the HAFA by mistake causing me to start over. We were actually discussing the HUD with an offer before this nightmare.
