  • she is showing every time time size of her cuts - soooo annoying! everyone can figure that out

  • @byibyi forward it idiot if you think its annoying. you obviously have control of the video.

  • How big is the earthenware pot?

  • Yummy!!!!!!!

  • I had this soup the other day at a Korean restaurant. Best soup next to Pork Bone soup, ^.^

  • i always think all korean foods are colorful and just really delicious. i want some!

  • i love korean food..thanks for sharing your recipes. im cooking it right now. take care.

  • how the fuck did you cut the zucchini like that. I've done that several times with other veggies and such, and cut myself. every. t.i.m.e.

  • Your accent is so cute ^^

  • Mmm.. It looks so healty! Thank you for sharing!

  • I have never eaten Korean food before. It all looks like soup.

  • @Vancouverjason1

    Try it someday. ;_

  • @Vancouverjason1 We koreans love our soup! its quite different to most western soups as its generally a lot thinner, more broth/stock like rather than that creamy texture that a lot of western soups have. A typical korean meal is generally like a bowl of rice and soup each, and a variety of side dishes ranging from vegetable pickles (like kimchi) to grilled marinated meat (like bulgogi, that stuffs awesome). Hard to describe, but the best way is just to try it!

  • Looks reaaally delicious!!

  • I like spicy food

  • can you make kimchi stew??

  • @strawberryjam161

I already posted it please check "Korean Food: Tuna Kimchi Soup (참치 김치찌개)"

  • This looks sooooo gooodddddddddd

  • I've been cooking spicy soft tofu soon with pepper paste (bought in market) instead of pepper oil, and it doesn't taste like the ones they serve in restaurants... is that why?

  • @Youtiao22

because pepper oil gives good unique spicy flavor to the soup.. you can just fry some hot pepper powder in heated and generously oiled pan to make own pepper oil.. try it someday..

  • omgoodness cant wait to try this.

  • 와우 맛나겠네.

  • where can i buy a earthenware pot online

  • @MsCherokeeMade

    I bought it offline..

  • @aeriskitchen which website did you use?

  • @LittoBUbbo

Sorry but I didn't buy it online.. I bought it from a local Korean grocery store.

  • what if we dont have hot pepper oil ?! whats a good substitute ? :O!

  • @xsaviee

you can make your own.. fry some hot pepper powder in heated and generously oiled pan

  • i have that pot at home...i don't really know how to use it though. I'm assuming we can use it over a gas stove right? or is that bad for that pan/pot you are using?

  • @stargirlvictoria

yes.. you can use on the gas stove top ^^

  • where could I find the pot?

  • @kimphamkimpham

Korean or asian grocery stores ^^

  • @kimphamkimpham You can also use a good enameled cast iron pot as well.

  • Kool. Thanks for replying. I gotta tray this one day =))

  • 'i hope you like this recipe'

    omg i LOVE this recipe!

    thank you so much ^^

  • @aeriskitchen thank you :)

  • If we don't want it really spicy, what do we put less of?

  • @Thespamasubi234

I don't know how spicy food you can handle..but this recipe is not really spicy.. you can reduce a little bit of both red pepper powder and hot pepper oil...

  • I just made this today and it is amazing tasting. Thanks Aeri!!!

  • Kelp is a wet sea weed, very good for your hair.

  • Exactly! Why did people that hate Korean food watching this? So dumb!!!

  • Can you use any pot? and is it just the red pepper flakes that gives it the red color? last ? is, can you use any texture tofu?

  • @xiongbebe

You can use the pot you have. Yes.. red pepper flakes give red color..but also spicy flavor.. the special point for this dish is.. the extra soft tofu... so I want recommend you try that... not other tofu..but if you can't find right kind tofu.. you can try other tofu you have also..

  • what is kelp?

  • @docombi007 then why were you watching this??

  • I dont like korean food.....

  • do you think pour cooking wine in soup can make it tastier??

  • @mrsbeautylover

cooking wine helps get rid of bad meat flavor .. and tender the meat..

  • what is cooking wine in korean? :))

  • @jykellylee

    Mirim 미림 in korean ^^

  • thanks alot for the upload, i love korean soup and i love oriental soup in general. this is where the orientals are brilliant! i love different flavor soups!

  • Is this only one serving?

  • @bobooboboobob

    it's for 2 servings..

  • What kind of pot are you using?

  • @SoCalMizfit

it's clay pot.. you can find it.. from korean grocery store..

  • We have lotte here now, and last week I think they sold kelps here too!so I hope they'll have zuccini, radish, the red paper & red oil so I can start cook korean food on my own ^^ Thx aeris I enjoy ur chanel ^^

  • @20beyourself

I don't drink either for my faith.. but the cooking wine is not alcohol anymore when it's cooked.. that's why I use for cooking ..so you don't have to worry about it..but if you still don't feel comfortable to try it.. yes you can skip it.

  • Woooww.. that looks delicious! I mite have to make that soup. Great job!!!

  • Can I only use the beef instead of the claims ?

  • @taylorbabe405

    yes you can.. ^^

  • How do you cook with a clay pot? Can it be placed right over the fire or does it have to have a pot underneath??

  • @marchmallowvampyre

you can see that I put the clay pot right on top of my stove.. ^^

  • thank you so much Aeri. love this recipe.

  • Can I use my clay pot on an electric stove?

  • @m279chey

    I think so ^^

  • Oh this looks good, could make a video for vegetable tofu soup? I'm a vegetarian and don't eat meat. Thank you.

  • @BeautifulLife1977

I will add it to my list and post it someday.. thanks :)

  • is kelp same as seaweed?

  • @babyblue0692

it is one type of seaweed..so about your question.. the answer will be depends on what kind of seaweed you are asking if they are same.. kelp is usually used for making broth in Korean cuisine. different from other seaweed you just eat..

  • if i dont want to use beef and clams, can i skip that part ? will it taste any different? if i do skip it should i add more quantities of the ingredients suggested in your recipe?

  • @rollyxpoley

if you skip beef and clams.. you will lose some flavor from them.. you can add broth stock powder type thing instead..

  • Is this the same as kimchi jjiggae?

  • @wlmessenger2

    it's different ^^

  • can i change zuccini with cucumber? i don't have zuccini here in my country i guess

  • @PutriShi no just skip the zuccini or use squash

  • @PutriShi

I will not add cucumber for this soup.. ^^

  • 사랑해요 !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You make really yummy food ^_^

  • I cooked it, it's good. I doubled everything though...so I can eat it more than once. lol It's yummy. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  • @eotu

I got it from a Korean grocery store. ^^

  • @eotu i have seen that pot in any chinese supermarket. ( I'm in Toronto )

  • Hello Aeri! I have a question about the black ceramic pan that you used to cook the ingredients in. I always wanted to buy one and use it on the stove but my mom was afraid that the pan would explode due to the heat- is that true? I was wondering if you also could tell me how to write it in Korean so that I can show it to the salesman when I go to the store to buy it. Any advice would be great- thank you Aeri!!!

  • @thesixthprincess

the ceramic pan is made to use on the stove.. so you don't have to worry about it much.. you can ask them.. 뚝배기 (TtukBaeGi).. and describe about it.. then they will understand what you mean.. thanks

  • @aeriskitchen Thank you so much! I finally purchased one today from the Korean grocery store- I'm hoping to make lots of this soup soon! :D

  • kimchi kimchi kimchi, in the morning, during lunch for the super. so if you ask a korean "have you had kimchi today", he will normally answers you back, "are you fucking serious, how come i didn't have kimchi, you should count the day i don't have kimchi, a day without kimchi is not accepted, a day without kimchi can not be called a day for korean." "how many day you haven't had kimchi." "none at all"

  • I like your recipe and the music you use in the background. Your recipe is a lot better than Maangchi, which I tried hers first.

  • This looks really yummy!

But i can't really take spicy food so how do i make this less spicy? Put less red pepper powder?

  • @deepblue3274

yes.. put less red pepper powder..

  • @deepblue3274 Those green peppers are spicy, too. Be careful about how many of them you use.

  • 맛 !! 그냥 죽여줘요~~~~~얌얌... 먹고싶다요~~~~~~~~~~~ 식당 여삼.. 가서 매일 먹겟음. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • that looks absolutely delicioussss and spicyyy love it XD

  • do they sell hot pepper oil?

  • @GinasDiary

yes.. Korean or asian grocery store sell it ^^
