Yeah im not denying any of that. Thats all great. I look at it this way. He makes countless awful decisions that outweigh alot of his great plays.People say he was great in the playoffs. He is the only QB to ever throw 2 INTs in overtime in the playoffs (2 horrible throws). A 12-10 playoff record isn't very impressive(tied for 1st alltime in most playoff losses). Favre threw 28 interceptions in 22 playoff games (tied for 1st all-time in most playoff INTs). He has the most INTs in NFL history.
These are the stats that they don't tell you about on ESPN. I'm not saying Favre isn't a great player, he is a phenominal player. But, he is not one of the top 10 QB's of all time.

As I got older I saw a lot of similarities between my dad and Big Irv, how they raised their sons, Brett Favre is a superstar, the records say so, but Brett is his fathers son that's why you see the fiery passion, that's why there is no quit in him. Tony is spot on before Deanna, Brett Favre isn't about the stats, he's not about the money, or the fame. Yeah im not denying any of that. Thats all great. I look at it this way. He makes countless awful decisions that outweigh alot of his great plays.People say he was great in the playoffs. He is the only QB to ever throw 2 INTs in overtime in the playoffs (2 horrible throws). A 12-10 playoff record isn't very impressive(tied for 1st alltime in most playoff losses). Favre threw 28 interceptions in 22 playoff games (tied for 1st all-time in most playoff INTs). He has the most INTs in NFL history.

He has the most attempts in NFL history which would obviously put him high up in most stats (yards, tds, ints). I still think that if Joe Montana had the attempts of favre, he wouldn't be anywhere near to the number of INT's. Favre has 310 career INTs in 9280 pass attempts (1 per 29.9 attempts). Montana has 139 INTs in 5391 attempts (1 per 38.8 attempts).

I love Brett Favre. Yeah, i know, the calls to the other teams were ridiculous. But i will always love him. I'm 14 years old so he's been the packers quarterback my whole life, until this year. I live in green bay, so he's the only quarterback ive ever known for the packers. I saw him go out every sunday and amaze millions. He is a legend, and always will be. I love going into the Lambeau field atrium, just as I did tonight, and seeing all of his accomplishments on the walls everywhere.
