Okay now that you have removed the oxidation, don't you need to seal it? what product did you use, since that is what was oxidized the headlight sealant.
@Philo0525 its not a skull design on the bottle... its a blue coral bottle... the design you see are the corals, but its not a blue coral wax cutting compound its made by Production car care....pink cutting compound
@woodpusher408 your not getting it... when you put on the pink compound and pause it at 2:28 you will see a design on the compound... just pause it and try to see it... so you can understand what I'm talking about because you are completely lost.
@sidebarr7.. yes ive used a few different products and 3m and productions head light restoration kit works great, and is very easy to use... most kits also have a 1year or 2year warranty, witch is great...
Did nothing for me... No help what-so-EVER! You CAN'T just use "any old compound". I guess you use that on any old car too, huh?
Told to me by a friend who actually DID help: Cooking spray freakin' worked. Unbiased suggestion here people. Try it, it won't ruin your headlights and you don't have to go through the nonsense this guy went through.
Just keep hittin up with the compound. Try using hard compound from production or monster. U can buy it at walmart or sears even autozone, let me know how it comes out
My headlights have a snow flake effect if you know what I am saying. And I have been sanding it down with a 2000 grit sandpaper and then using rubbing compound. And I have not been getting great results. Any tips? I am using the rubbing compound from turtle wax, should I be using something else?
