@misscray1 Thanks for your comment, yes!  believe it or not lightning is not a factor in determining if a storm is severe.

Half way around the world, In Southern England we just had a massive strom. Some places winds where 100mph (160 K's), Winds have died down but we are scheduled to get heavy thunder and lighting tonight if the weather man got it correct

nice pulsing cgs! and that close one had some great thunder. This was the highlight of our horror spring . Hoping for better things after the new year.
