I'm afraid of flying too. Especially since 9/11, haha, but I think that the benefits of reaching somewhere by flying far outweigh those of smoking cannabis. That's what I'm saying; most people fly in airplanes or leave their house in their life that's normal behavior so why have that risk and then add more risk through drug use?

im not pitting flying in aeroplanes against cannabis. im not saying pick one or the other, just the risk factor. smoking cannabis for milions of people is a normal everyday thing and i think more and more people are going to smoke cannabis in the future. the governments should make it legal so they can tax it and regulate it. as that video says "the war on drugs is bullshit". in a free democracy you should have the right to put watever you want in you're body as long as you dont hurt anyone else

I agree with everything you just said. At least as it effects cannabis. However, I don't think it's ok that "smoking cannabis for millions of people is a normal everyday thing" I don't think the government should arrest people for it but I also don't think that the fact that it's become a sort of badge of honor in the artistic community is ok either. As I said before it's a waste of time and energy so really I guess I don't care that it's illegal.

I only said that the way I did 'cause someone said this is music for potheads or whatever. Really though, marijuana is just a waste of time money and energy. I've been through that part of my life and really the only good experiences that can come from it only come from being uninhibited which you can be without it so it's totally useless. some people use it medicinally, some people can find inspiration from smoking marijuana, some people find it easier to concentrate and study for example while using marijuana. it affects everyone differently so when u say it done nothing for you then so be it. i try not to smoke when ive got important stuff 2 do. because marijuana may cause a lack of motivation but only with things that are shit generally. lol

I didn't say that it didn't do anything for me. What I was implying is that no one needs it it's just that the things that it does to your brain makes you stupid and think you need it to be creative or whatever. Saying it makes you stupid is a little harsh I know many smart people who smoke everyday but it does kill your brain and it does increase the risk for schizophrenia and it does put you at risk of having vasospasms so what's the point. Why risk all that just to feel dazed and hazy?

send me the link but "more at risk" means those who don't have family members are "less at risk" but any risk is still ridiculous in the face of what it does. People don't seem to understand that even if there is only a 1/1,000,000 chance it could still happen and just because someone has been smoking for years doesn't mean they are any less at risk for certain things like vasospasms. Vasospasms can occur with the use of any drugs and it doesn't matter if you have used for years or first time.

well I think its all got to do with probability then, because technically you're more at risk from choking on a cabbage leaf. If you ask, why do people risk their lives/mental health when there is a chance they could be affected then you'd have to ask why does anyone leave their house when there is the small chance they could be mugged and stabbed, or why people fly in aeroplanes when they could be hijacked/crashed?

the difference is that the benefits of leaving your house and living your life far outwiegh those of smoking green. Furthermore, leaving your house is almost required of living ones life whereas marijuana is not. What I'm saying is marijuana isn't worth the risks not that it is more risky. I guess I just don't get why people care so much about it. The creativity argument is bullshit and any other argument seems half baked (no pun intended).
