There is a difference between a hard landing and a positive landing. When you land on a 350m runway in moderate crosswind with a 75ft high tension powerlines 100 ft from touchdownzone you dont perform soft field landings :) ...unless you manage to maximize your runway by flying 5ft above the power lines. (which i do not...i alsways cross them 30 ft above and touch down beyond the new threshold.)
That was one hard landing...
Better check the struts of that plane..
Need to practice soft field landings, more often..

There are some macho guys at OMNI field who want to touch down in the grass or at the old threshold...I call that fool hardly and downright illegal.
Oh by the way the struts were fine and are still fine today on RP-C8841. Thanx for your concern for the aircraft aviatordino.
