@Rimshnhj Mike didn't want to drill holes through his cabinets and multiple shelves for the wires, so we decided to attach them just below the microwave. You actually can't see the wires unless you bend down and look up. Wiring this way is also an option for those who don't have an outlet in the cabinets above.
Wiring up through the cabinets is definitely a great way to do it if you don't mind the holes (which can be made very subtle)! Thanks for the comment.
@smartworkstudio Honestly, connecting the light fixtures to electricity was the easiest part. You can see in the video how the light fixtures are connected together via linking cable. Since these are line voltage, plug-in fixtures, there was no need for a transformer. The second light fixture is connected to a power cord, which is plugged in to an outlet behind the refrigerator. Apologies for not showing that part!

Very poor installation. Why not place the wiring up through the cabinets so you don't see it over the stove?

Ingenious you showed us how to mark a whole and screw ... twice! Does the electricity just magically find the fixture?
