Thanks mate for the video. I'm learning to roll and it's great to study the video of someone who does it well...and you do it VERY well. In Texas the water is about 85 deg F - HOT. We long for the winter when the water temp gets down in the 60s!
I dig the stick I have made a dozen or so. Did you carve your own? Western red? have you ever checked the weight I get most of mine down to 26 oz. Love the rolls cant wait to finish my boat and get out there again.

Weight, I dont know... it varies depending on the frequency of use. Mid-summer I will paddle essentially 20-30 days in a row prior to having a day off... meaning it gets pretty water logged, but is still very light. Very easy on my shoulders and wrists. This was my first GP, and have used it for the last 2 years. Love it.
