  • I've been looking for non-weighted leg exercises I can do in a Tabata or Gladiator type workout and these seem like a perfect fit. It's amazing how much muscle growth you gain from these full range isolated exercises. Thanks!

  • Excellent video. It's true that one of the main reasons that people neglect legs is because of lack of equipment. Setting up a bench press system in your own home is not such a big deal as you can get them fairly low cost and they can be folded away when not in use. Squat racks on the other hand are not so simple and can cost quite a bit. Well done for this video which solves this problem.

  • woahhh jeff man.. i gotta tell u, when i watched this it didnt look that challenging but ive just done 3 circuits with good form and about a minutes rest between curcuits and i can honestly say that is the most intense home training ive ever done n such short time!! thanks so much man your a great guy!

  • Great vdieo jeff!!! Very big fan of your work. Do you have any exercises specific for martial arts? I teach Tae Kwon Do but I also do Thai Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, MMA and Kung Fu. Would be great if u had a video for martial artist

  • ive been working out all summer mon-fri and i rest weekends.....at the end of the week my legs are sore since i do just cardio....last week my right leg was more sore than usual and it goes numb occasionally...is that normal?

  • Yes! AthLEAN-X > P90X! Nuff said. Ppl dont have time to do long workouts like P90X. AthLEAN-X, 10 mins a day, thats all! Just as effective as long hours of workout. I follow his ab program, and boy, it hurts!

  • Brother Jeff, Many thanks for the great workouts. I am 35 years old and overweight (75 Kilograms). Currently, I am into Taekwondo (ITF style) and I attend 3 sessions per week.

    1) Will the leg workout help me improve the kicks and balance?

    2) I am a typical South Indian addicted to curries. Should I completely avoid rice, wheat and other carbohydrates to get in shape?

  • You can definitely do these workout with free weights or even a weighted vest for more of a challenge!

  • getting abs is the easiest thing ever. LOSE WEIGHT that's all you have to do to get a 6 pack you need around 7% body fat and there you go.

  • Awesome, I love working my legs, but I hate paying for and going to the gym, so I was running out of ideas.

    Question: about how long should I rest between circuits? This looks pretty intense, so I'm guessing 2 minutes would be best. Sound about right, or should I keep it shorter, and rest for only 1 minute?

  • Rest 1 minute if you are highly conditioned....2 minutes if you need a bit more time to recover

  • hey jeff, love your workouts man. just curious though im quite a skinny guy(no 6 pack though) so i guess i could be classed as one of those skinny fat guys. i really want a program that is going to add some mass to my body. your workouts seem to be more for cutting or endurance kind of muscle gains? how did you build your physique? was it with these type of workouts or of a traditional heavier weight lifting type of workout? thanks. still love your workouts!!!

  • is there an option for the twister squats? It looks like it puts alot of stress on the knee of the supporting leg. Maybe just a straight pistol squat. Good sequence though i'll try it out next time I have a chance.

  • Actually your knee is very safe in this position because your knee should continue to track directly over your foot. You can however substitute a pistol squat if you are able to perform those.

  • great video. I am interested in buying athlean-x but have a few questions. Will it just burn fat and tone your body or will you be able to make substantial muscle gains as well? Therefore no need to bulk and then cut? thanks.
