  • can i downlaod this vst anywhere?

  • I really want to know the name of this piano piece which is played.

  • I can't believe how small this program (80MB) and sounds much better than other pianos I have that are like 7GB in sample size.

  • Link for the FREE download?

  • Hello, sorry I am new to Acoustica Pianissimo and I have maybe a silly question. Would your system allow me to record my guitar into Mixcraft and get the piano sound out? I assume not but...just want to make sure..

    Thank you very much

  • I love mixcraft 5! Sadly I don't have pro though - when is 6 coming out?

  • Awesome music.

  • is there any real free vsti with real piano sound and reverb?

all mine are limited .. they have no real wibe to them

  • @TheRogueMonk look for jazz baby, its free ,or 4front piano, but jazzbaby is bettter and i hope ur keys are velocity sensitive? cause that does alot with a piano sound, peace!

  • very nice sound how much? in pounds?

  • It Would Be Nice If Hammers Would Move Too Not Just Key's

  • the Italian grand from Ivory is awesome as well ..

    much love

  • amazing

  • What's the song?

  • Where can i buy this?

  • Brahms <3

  • is this better tha the grand 2 by steindberg

  • can I use this in Ableton Live?

  • @daviddot5 yup!

  • This is amazing! <3 i wish i could play piano as good as you lol

  • which is the theme that plays the piano to find it on internet? I want an answer please

  • sick lol

  • Is there software out there that can follow the light like on a CVP-207 and other

CVP seires models. Have vurtial lights just about the keys in the software.

  • how do you even crack this man? i cant find anything that does the job, and tryed to re-install but always appears the trial thingy :(

  • cant figure out how to install the software into fl studio, any ideas? I put the .dll but it says it's missing parts...

  • where can I find this software in Italy?

  • how do you use the pedals

  • From someone who has bought and loves Pianoteq, I'll say that this isn't bad—certainly better than many virtual pianos out there. But Pianoteq still beats them all for me, especially in the higher ranges, where many pianos (including this one) start to sound fake, IMO.

  • is this better than the truepiano-x64 included in sonar 8.5?

  • I got a question. How can I use the sustain pedal? Is there a key that acts as a sustain pedal?

  • Nice but may i ask u question?

    Seem to obvious but:

Could u connect the midi keyboard to this, make your keyboard sound much like a grand piano? ( if it does, does the sound come out on the piano speaker?)

    Thanks you

    Bye Bye

  • @khangu262 Yes it will come out of the audio device you have configured. You can also render it down to a Wav, Ogg or MP3 file. You can get a USB MIDI controller for that.

  • the name of the song please!! its great xD

  • Comment removed

  • I'm diggin' it. Mixcraft 5 Pro ,Vista 64 bit, dual core. Piano blows my mind.

  • @coolbus18 Thank you! :)

  • @acoustica222 LETS SAY IF YOU HAVE A KEYBOARD THAT DOESNT HAVE WAITED KEYS AT ALL LIKE NOTHING CAN U GET THAT WITH THIS SOFTWARE?

  • I CANNOT PLAY ON KEYBOARD! WHAT'S A PROBLEM? PLEASE HELP ME! :(((((

  • For $68.95 I think this is a little too pricey. I mean, for $100.00 you could get Sonar Home Studio XL which includes hundreds of good extra plug-ins for midi keyboards. I'd say maybe $20.00 at the most would be a reasonable price for this vst plug-in.

  • Of course there are better VST pianos on the market - but not at this price and at this small size.

This piano sounds much better, much more natural than Truepiano, the GSI pianos and others. The only thing I do not like is the fact, that the microphones seem to have too much distance to the piano. So the sound is not as direct as I would like to have it. But anyway - at this price it is unbeatable!

  • Im not sure where to go with any of this hopefully someone will know.

Ive been recording my own music(melodic death metal), and I want to add synth stuff, like proggresive metal stuff (Like what CoB,Dream Theatre, and Scar Symmetry do) How would I add this stuff to my song though, do I need to buy a keyboard? If i bought a keyboard could I hook it to my computer thru Mixcraft and record like that? Or are there other alternatives, I just want keyboards in my music plain and simple.

  • @ArtificialFlavaFTB2 You don't have to buy a keyboard. You can click to add notes on virtual instrument tracks within Mixcraft. Alternatively, you can use the Musical Typing Keyboard. You should watch more of our video tutorials, read the help on Virtual Instruments and experiment.

  • great demo......and this vst is a great deal

  • Sounds good, and a lot better than Truepianos, which I saw just before this.

  • This software is darn great.

Now I don't need big-priced concert grand pianos.

I only need a pc and a computer keyboard and a music composing software.

    Thanks for making this possible.

  • how are you suppose to play it?

  • impressive, especially at the price....sounds better than vst pianos costing more, like NI

  • I am confused, Sir, I have a yamaha MM8, if what I'm thinking it's correct, it works this way, i'll connect y MIDI USB From y KEYBOARD TO MY PC, And then I Buy this software and when I play on my keyboard will sound on this program with GRAND PIANO QUALITY, and it also Saves the sound of my performances?

I'm confused, can you explain me what is this and why buy it? I'M a newbie on this kind of things by the way

  • @lesengir You will be able to run the program as a standalone program that will record your performance and allow you to save as MIDI or as the actual audio that you hear in MP3 or WAV form, for example. I hope this helps. Just try the trial version, if you aren't sure.

  • @lesengir The concept is that they pre-recorded every note of a quality grand piano, at a quality studio and they pieced all of the samples together into this software. The purpose of buying this is that even if you may own your own grand piano at home, if you don't have the right microphones or the right room treatment you wont be able to record your performance in the level of quality you yourself are hearing when you play So this will be a nice way of sharing your performances in high quality

  • Only problem with this program that the built in metronome is crappy as hell. I can't record anything with this if I'm going to put several other instruments to the song, because the timings will be different (though all of them was recorded in the same timing... just the pianissimo)

  • Surprising little program really. I use it for soft piano. From deep, i use The Grand steinberg and for brillance: Nexus 2 total piano expansion.

  • I'm trying to decide:

    Acoustica pianissimo

    4font piano

native instruments new york concert grand

    WHAT SHOULD I GET?

can, only, get one...what is number 1, 2, and 3 choice?

i am a recording artist...so mainly, my concern at the moment is for quality not portabiity

  • @novanine9 Pianissimo, if you're asking me. Try out the demo version if you aren't sure.

  • Comment removed

  • @novanine9 boesendorfer 290 vst is also damn nice

  • @novanine9 oh, should I buy your product, or your competitors product? ummmmm..... *facepalm*

  • @FartingPenguinProd - what is this in regards to?

    Facepalm, WTF?

  • Comment removed

  • very nice and deep tone

  • im going to be downloading this piece of shit with a torrent

  • Very good performance

  • amazing

  • Amazing program compared to others. Sounds great, works like a charm with my yamaha (no input delays). And the program is also small in size and light to use. Bravo! 5 stars!

  • LOOK at my PROFIL ** just click and watch right away ** im added new beats l8ter *

    RAP 2 IT IF U CAN **

  • sounds very good, how many velocity layers does it have?

  • You Fuck heads will spend more time arguing about what software is better for sample piano sounds then the other, who really give a FUCK?.it's about what you are able to do with it.even the pros use software in the studio that some others may not use, it's about you some will like your shit and some won't FUCK trying to please everybody.

  • Oh and Songwriter4God .... could that cover of Monster be any more off key ? Jesus Christ that sucked

  • It's not CRIMINAL to download things off of ANY webpage on the net. Especially if you reside in the USA. The supreme court ruled that anything accessable through 'normal" means ~~~eg; typing in a search or web address isn't illegal to download, because they deemed the internet "public domain" Jackass= Songwriter4God

  • I'm really impressed ... Why didn't Synthogy get it how to pack good sound into little as 80MB?

I worked with Ivory the last 2 months and the sound was really unsatisfying ... The best I could found was the Italian Grand Piano, but I wasn't really satisfied either ...

The one thing on Pianissimo which isn't perfect is, that I had to adjust the bass to 63%, the mids to 57% and the heights to 200%.

But that's a matter of taste, probably

  • OR a criminal. You're the idiot.

  • Awesome! im gonna hook my midi controller up to this :D

  • bueno..

  • do you recommend this or The Grand 2 from steinberg??? is there a big difference??

  • @searteroc

    Go For Ivory Grand piano.

German D beats all the vsti pianos today available.

  • hey this may be a dumb question but with this software, do u need a midi keyboard to use it or does it have virtual piano capabilities, as in the way FL Studios and such do?

  • @mvshabeer

It certainly doesn't. Check out VSL's new Vienna Imperial. 100 velocity layers are hard to beat. Also, Ivory lags some of the basic things like sympathetic string resonance (there's only sustain resonance). However, I still think their Italian Grand is great.

  • @Paramite84

Ivory one is 5 years old. This month Ivory II is released and it has more velocity layers and have string resonance and many features they left in Ivory I

  • Yeah, I know about Ivory II. However, 18 velocity layers are nothing compared to 100 Vienna Imperial has. Also, it's impossible to record them as accurate without a technology like Bösendorfer's CEUS. But then again, Ivory II has 3 pianos. So it's a matter of taste I guess. 18 velocity layers is certainly more than enough.

  • I just checked the Ivory II prices. I'm definitely upgrading my Italian Grand. 45 dollars is quite ridiculous... (179 for the full program).

  • from where can i take tabs for the virtual piano ( on letters ) ?

  • Great Piano Vst !

  • This little vst works great and is not expensive. I think it is 70$ or something.

  • Which is better, Pianissimo or Pianoteq? PLease send your opinions.

  • TruePianos

  • I need help, i dont know anything about MIDI i just have my piano i have the cable usb midi i connected to my computer i opened Acoustica PIanissimo and nothing happened i selected in the preferences menu my USB MIDI, but nothing happened, i just had to connect my usb midi to my computer and open the program?, or i have to install someting else...I NEED HELP

  • First off, did you install the drivers for your keyboard? and do you have a recording program or just the dedicated program for pianissimo?

  • you have to connect the "midi out" of your cable in the "midi in" of your keyboard. Then conect the "midi in" of your cable in the "midi out" of your keyboard. Then connect your usb cable in your computer.Turn on your keyboard and start pianissimo.

    It should work.

If it soesn't go to midi prefrences and select your usb cable as the enter.

    Good luck

  • Brahms - Rhapsodies Op 79 No 1 Agitato

  • wow ! how much and where?

  • Comment removed

  • Acoustica

  • Hey...where can i get it??sounds great...i m looking for a piano like that.its a vst right?so it should run in cubase..

  • What's the name of the piece?

I know it's Brahms but what?

Please, I need to know the name

    Thanks.

  • check out the previous comments....

  • If you don't have a keyboard, and can't play keyboard anyway, isn't there a way to set the notes on a timeline and then play them?

I mean, I have the demo of this VST, but what's the point if you can only play with the mouse? Please help me.

  • You can run it through something like cubase, protools, acitvate it as a VSTI and assign a midi track for it, it will the read all your midi data in that track, for example you can put the midi notes yourself and then you can loop them or play them, you can record the midi notes from an midi keyboard or download midi songs from the internet and it will read the notes from there.

if you watch my songs in my channel you will hear drums, i don't play them, I only set the the midi beat track

    Peace out

  • get a host program like fl studio or cubase.

  • the point is to give piano players the ability to record realistc sounding piano tracks into their recordings. Proper use of the program requires that you have a midi enable keyboard. I suppose if you have a programs such as cubase you can input notes using the pianoroll.

  • Well, I can't play piano neither I have a keyboard, but when I posted the comment I didn't know about programs such as Nuendo. Now I am able to place the notes on a timeline which is good enough for me. :)

  • Or Mixcraft, or own DAW. :)

  • @Descalabro yeah what these people said, if fact if you import a MIDI file into your program you can search the Pianissimo directory and find the MIDI file (the sequence of notes) that plays this demo, i like loading it up and watching other piano VST's fail at playing it :p i love this program sounds sooo god for being so light.

  • HElp!!!!

ive been trying to figure out if i need a MIDI keyboard to play a VSTplugin or if i could just assign the plugin to my computers keybored??

  • Sure there are several 3rd party qwerty keyboards out there. Check out our FAQ on our website Acoustica for more info

  • I have a question.

Are there people who makes there own songs with program and then burn it to a disc and then sell it?

  • I suppose there are people who do that, but with most musicians the more popular route is selling their songs through the net at places such as iTunes

  • what a great software...i just got it from j&r for $49 i just cant stop to play with it....

  • @ $69 for the download version you just cant beat it.

  • THIS THING IS SICKENING!!

I got it last night and it turned my little MIDI controller into a huge concert Grand! hahaha

Now I feel like Beethoven and Mozart, but at the same time I wonder what those guys would do if they had all this VST power in one little LAPTOP! LOL

Man, screw this, I'm writing a gazillion concerts

    LATERZ GATORZ! :p

  • @muziqmonster I am interested in doing the same things you are doing. That is, playing my already composed midi pieces through this sampler. Is that difficult to do as some people I think make it more hard than it looks. I really like the sounds of these pianos. Thanks. Best, L.E.

  • very very very good piano vst !!! i have it and i am very happy !!!

  • how much was it? its a grea vsti and im looking to buy it

  • ha I got this and I am SO happy with it, sounds just like a concert grand!

  • Glad you like it!

  • extremadamente pianisisisisimo lol

  • what song is this?

  • It is a part of a Brahms Rhapsody Op 79 No 1

  • Thanks!

  • is this only for midi usb keyboards or also for standard qwerty pc keyboards, and can i get techno-style synthesizer sounds from it, because i am trying to make some of my own techno melodies in mixcraft

  • You posted this under Pianissimo, which is a virtual grand piano. Regarding Mixcraft, our other product, yes, you can do techno using your mouse or MIDI keyboard. There is also free 3rd party software that lets you use your QWERTY keyboard as a MIDI input device. We have several VST instruments and plenty of built in loops. Check out our support section and watch the videos.

  • How do you get it into fruityloops as one vsti I have the program, but I can't get the program to run right in the fruity wrapper,Please message me back if anyone can help.

  • sounds great!!

  • can u tell me how to set up my keyboard to play MIDI in mixcraft? i just purchased mixcraft

  • woooooooow that sounds better than my motif

  • after a second listen it sounds just like it definrtly kills da fantom doe

  • Congratulations for your hard work!

  • Muy bueno!

A first release, a good work.

  • can you play it on your pc keyboard?

  • yes. go to the FAQ area on Acoustica for Pianissimo and it will point to some 3rd party MIDI/computer keyboard controllers that you can install and use to play the host.

  • It is now available for download and purchase at Acoustica's website

  • It is available in our beta area on our support page.

  • Hi

It's still in beta but it will be available in December! Hope this helps.
