  • Where did u get the motor from

  • cool kart but i think ur an environazzi put a 110cc on it and the kids have some fun damn it

  • @pete312able No you are wrong.... I just thought it would be a fun project. Didn't have any thing to do with the environment. Plus my kid is young and he's a horable driver, I needed it to be a little slower while he is learning. Anyone can build/buy a gas powered go kart. Not everyone has an electric one.

  • @pete312able environazzi? don't see how 100lbs of lead in a plastic bucket full of acid is "green"

  • how long can you drive before you have to recharge the batterys??

  • @soverato3 Not sure to be honest. I would say at least a good 3-4 hours of use. I just charge it when they are done for the day.

  • How would you go about the lights, hooking them up. are they 12volts

  • @dbi1036 You could wire them up to just one battery and get 12Volts. I did that for a while. You can also get a device to drop the 36V to 12V.

  • Kinda slow but it's a start

  • 115 Amp Hour Deep Cycle Marine Batteries from Costco.

  • what's the amp per hours on those batteries?

  • @whako321123 They are 115 Amp Hour Deep Cycle Marine Batteries from Costco.

  • its not a solid axle

  • @itsianman Is that a question or a statement? No it is not a solid axle. I got the go kart from a buddy, so I just used it as is for now. Someday, I plan to cut it off and replace it with a live axle.

  • @jamiemcshan I like your Electric Go Kart as is.

I have a live axle on my Electric Go Kart and when I turn corners, it really slows down and chews up the batteries. I have to throw my body weight so that the inner rear wheel lifts off the ground when I want to turn corners.

  • I think it says 3 HP at 48 volt. But I am only running it at 36 volt. It's not super fast, but it is for an 8 year old.

  • how much horse power is that golf cart motor?
