I had this game. No doubt it was a different kind of game but I thought it was awesome--the controls scheme sure is controversial. Heck, first ever to pound someone at the table. But it was deep in content...maybe too much.

Also, in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, where are all the hookers? As we all know, prostitution is the world's oldest profession, and thus surely would have been present in Zelda's medieval setting. The ability to fondle a street walker's front-loaded anvils for 20 rupees would have been a nice touch to both games (literally).

The graphics and fluidity of the wrestling matches were incredible for its time. But even in 1998, the AKI wrestling games had much better play control, and you had to use strategy to win matches. The lack of control over your wrestler in WWF Warzone made tag team matches and battle royals really frustrating.

This game SUCKED. And that's hard for me to say because I was a diehard WWF fan during the Monday Night Wars. Acclaim just destroyed the WWF brand when they had the license. Thank God THQ took over and gave the WWF a respectable game with Wrestlemania 2000, and later No Mercy.

It wasn't that bad back then. Before War Zone there were In Your House and the WrestleMania Arcade. In comparison to it's previous titles, WarZone was a definite upgrade back then although WCW's World Tour and Revenge games for N64 were better.
