How i wish i could have a normal life with my autistic child like that, Sadly in my country there are institutions wich do not let us. They want to stuff my child with medicines.
these videos are adorable, hopeful and informative for anyone, with autistic children or not. i have 4 kids and we have watch all of logan and tatum's autismauntie videos- thank you for sharing your lives :) <3 tha campion's
wow how awesome! My daughter is 9 and has started reading speaking and learning at warp speed in the last year. She too likes the deep pressure input and has learned to ask for it. Mind you all this came about in the last year. I am so proud of her too God Bless!
I can't help but smile when I watch these videos. It's so wonderful to know that your niece and nephew have such a wonderful aunt to be patient and be there for them. God bless you guys. :) They seem to be doing so well!
Such a beautiful girl! :) :) Does Tatum like to watch the videos you film of her? My nephew Logan (Yep, same name as your nephew, I think I may have told you that before) :D Enjoys watching the videos we film of him! :)
@ricka2004 Thanks for the question- I don't mean to offend. "Autistic" is another word for saying someone has Autism. Like instead of saying "They have Autism" you can make it shorter by saying "They're Autistic" since you wouldn't say "They're Autism" and I say Autistic Tatum to grab the attention of viewers, since people search for words related to Autism... not a kids name. It's very common to use the expression "autistic" it's better English then saying "Autism Tatum"

The nurse I used to work with would tease me that I fit in so well that she couldnt find me on the floor sometimes. Id tell her "very funny, Im the one in scrubs" ;)
Im sure they do understand each other. Before I knew I had Asperger's my older daughter's best friends sister had severe autism and she was drawn to me for some reason. Her Mom thought it was because I worked with Alzheimer patients LOL. She would talk more and would lean against me where she would not touch other people. I also did enjoy working with my Alzheimer patients and had an understanding for them. Its certainly not autism but they do share communication issues.
Tatum is beating the odds learning to talk after five, amazing little girl!
Maddy just turned six this past Friday. I wish we could get the Autistic Princess's together some day. Maddy loves to watch Tatum's videos and she used to say "its Maddy" so I told her "its Tatum" so now she says "like me, like me". Obviously she relates to her which is very cool.
@aspiemom42 Yeah that is awesome! I'm glad she's enjoying Tatum, maybe she understands her better than we do. I wouldn't doubt it--- Tatum and her brother give us the odd feeling they are communicating and understanding each other.
