Growing at Reiman Gardens 010 11-6-2007 Planting Bulbs

O.K. I planted tulips THICK in a flower bed, now that they're passing what do I plant there? If I plant the dahlia's that I wanted to plant there, all the watering will rot the tulip bulbs..... I live in zone 5, any ideas?

i bought some dahlia bulbs but do i plant the whole big clump as it comes or break off each bulb and plant those?
