Worth) are the Sun Bowl (against the ACC), the Holiday Bowl (against the Big 12), the Alamo Bowl (against the Big 12), the Boise Bowl (okay, that's about as bad as Ft. That includes the Rose...even if that field goal would have gone in and Utah won in OT, if it comes down to Utah or USC for the Rose, it's Utah regardless of who won or lost when they played eachother. I think USC sanctions go through 2013.

@UceRenagade, Btw, I find it to be hilarious how you keep bringing up the Utah vs. Montana State game when byu is clearly playing opponents on their schedule that are easier than Utah's schedule......
So far, TCU is the only great team on byu's schedule......(Texas is decent, but they're not a great team)......
And don't even think about bringing up Oregon State because they're 1-4 right now and Ole Miss is mediocre...... :)

@UceRenagade, the Utes are 9 wins away from the Rose Bowl, and maybe not even that many depending on ASU and Arizona. We don't have to go undefeated, we can go 9-4 and still get there. Oh how I love being in the PAC 12.

@UceRenagade Las Vegas Bowl is still better than the Armed Forces Bowl against a CUSA also-ran (assuming BYU gets eligible, which is not a guarantee at this point). Plus Vegas gets the 5th pick. Our other options (all better than AF bowl in Ft. Worth) are the Sun Bowl (against the ACC), the Holiday Bowl (against the Big 12), the Alamo Bowl (against the Big 12), the Boise Bowl (okay, that's about as bad as Ft. Worth) and the New Mexico Bowl (okay, that's worse, but that's the 8th PAC 12 pick)

@UceRenagade, Wrong. Utah still has a good chance to go to a BCS bowl......(despite their loss to USC).....1 loss will not ruin their chances.....
As for you byu fan, you have nothing to say since the "U" gave byu a huge ass-kicking last week! Have fun with byu going to a crappy bowl this year! Utah will likely be in a better bowl this year than byu will......
And you can't say anything because byu having 2 losses while being independent just bumped them out of the BCS picture......

@07bballking hahahahaha!!! Utah is 2-1. Both wins coming from Montana State & BYU. I'm a BYU fan and i'll admit BYU isn't that good. I just like how Utah beats two crappy teams and they think they're going BCS. Yall lost to USC. Being in the Pac-12 is like playing a USC team every week. Yes, Utah will go to a better bowl than BYU. But they aint to a BCS bowl. Not this year at least.

Stanford and Oregon both have very good teams this year.....(even on USC's down years, they still have good teams).....ASU is good this year.....(there has also been talk that Washington might end up having a good team this year, too).....and Utah will likely have a good future because they have the right coaching staff and they have some great recruits coming because of Norm Chow!...

@etrnll being in an automatic qualifying conference doesn't mean anything. when was the last time Washington State went to a BCS bowl? but they're in an automatic qualifying conference. what about CAL (which utah will lose to)? you still need to come out on top to reach the BCS. being in the PAC-12 makes it a little easier to get there. but you still need to beat teams like USC(which utah didn't) and ASU.

@UceRenagade -Not really, this year USC isn't bowl eligible. That includes the Rose...even if that field goal would have gone in and Utah won in OT, if it comes down to Utah or USC for the Rose, it's Utah regardless of who won or lost when they played eachother. I think USC sanctions go through 2013.

I've been a college football fan long enough not to expect anything so I don't have an answer to your question. 3 games into the season, every teams got a long road ahead. But in Utah, a championship game has already been won and that's what makes this video so great to watch.

@LetTheMilesGoBy and i'm not saying otherwise. Utah completley killed BYU in the annual Holy War. The whole world knows that. But the topic of discussion is "will Utah hit the Rose Bowl?" And what i'm saying is, Utah has a pretty big mountain to climb to get there. Being in the Pac-12 southern division, u only need to worry about Ariz State. and then u gotta get passed the Pac-12 championship against teams like Stanford, Cal, or Oregon. That's all i'm saying.
