this is the season that is going on in finland at the moment and when i watch this i gasp my breath trying to figure out how the heck did Tara manage to push herself throughout the whole competition...shes truly amazing and inspirational to everyone :D she was my favourite and it sucked that she didnt win but im happy she got healthy and happy :D

The final was so close...Helen lost 54%,Mike 53% and Tara 52%...lol...Tara is just simply amazing and she is the best Biggest Loser contestant ever!!!! Even though I am not fat she inspired me in a lot of ways,especially with my tennis...I love how she NEVER gives up!!!She didn't win,but she won what she wanted to win-her normal life and her happiness...She will always be the biggest winner for me!!! OKAY every time ali gave daris credit she always had to put tara down. Shure dairs was stronger, HE IS A MAN! Tara still had a better winning attitude. She lost a higher percentage of weight. Tara was and always will be my biggest inspiration. She is still pushing on even harder in life, that is all that matters. I love you Tara.

Actually they do. That's why around week 6 the males where shirts to weigh in instead of taking them off, and the females where shirts instead of sports bra's. Cus it would look nasty I guess.

Mike lost 207 and Tara lost 155. I guess percentage wise Mike's weight loss was better than hers. But I agree. I didn't get that at first either. Tara did awesome. She's so determined and was pretty even before she lost weight.

I agree she didn't need the makeup and stuff Tara is naturally beautiful and using so much make up and stuff takes away from her natural beauty. She still looked amazing though...she just looks THAT much more amazing when she is natural :P

They should have left her hair alone. She looks so incredibly pretty when it's straight. And she would look a little better without all that makeup. She has natural beauty. If you try to mess around and replace natural beauty with globs of makeup and the silly curled hair, it still won't be as lovely as natural beauty.

Still, Tara looked great at the finale. She looks so healthy and happy now. I love her.

Helen is not even heavy enough to donate blood in my state. In New Jersey the legal blood donating weight is 120 lbs. I don't know what the legal weight is in Michigan (where Helen lives) or in Massachusetts (where my sister goes to college). In some states the legal weight is 110 lbs.

Since it's weight loss percentage, Helen (coming in less heavy than the other two) had an unfair advantage. Tara won most of the challenges and Mike lost the most overall weight (in BL history), so they deserve the win over her in my book.

It sucks so hard Tara didn't win! But Helen deserved it, it's a game of playing the numbers and it's awesome a 48 year old woman can win. Tara is totally a rock star and I hope to see her speaking out for fitness in some way. Tara maybe should have gotten some outside help because it seemed like she was struggling with a lot of demons. She couldn't find balance on her own and ultimately I think it held her back. She was my favorite to win and like everyone I love her but she is just a baby at 23

I disagree with you about Tara and balance and Helen deserving to win. I am 5'6, the same as Helen. 117 lbs is underweight. The last time I was 117 lbs I was 17. Helen is 48. Its common sense that it is healthy and normal that a 48 yr old carry around a bit more weight than a 17 yr old. Tara is 5'9. 140 is a VERY healthy weight for her. I believe she could have gone overboard just like Helen and emaciated herself. Instead she found balance and didnt overdo it.I'm proud of her.
