  • And the dish ran away with the spoon. It's in some book so it must be true, right?

  • do you trust science textbooks, or history textbooks, or math textbooks? I do. that doesn't necesarily make anything in them true or right. but we believe them. why is there a problem with me believing in God but NOT with you believing in a work of man? which, by the way, is exactly what a lot of non-believers will call the Bible.

  • nice video! u sure have a point... well said and keep up the good work^^! GBU

  • thanks for the support =) I appreciate it

  • I got a question for ya:

What do you think about gay people and gay marriage?

  • if you're looking for me to go off and call them devil spawn or something prepare to be disappointed. Personally I don't agree with the life style. As far as gay marriage I don't care, I don't know about if they should actually get "married" because Marriage is a religious ceremony based on the bible and the bible doesn't support gays so the way i see it, why would you want to be married under a book that talks bad about you? give em the rights of marriage, why not, who cares in my opinion.

  • Actually I'm glad you didn't call them devil spawn. I was hoping you weren't that kind of person. I feel that they should have rights like everybody else. This is part of the reason that I'm spiritual instead of religious. Religion bad mouths those people after always saying that "they love and respect everyone".

But all in all, I'm happy with your answer on that. Well said :-)

  • lol yea, well I didn't expect you to be like "YEA I AGREE" I figured you were asking to set me up lol and honestly I don't care. I don't SUPPORT being Gay but I'm not gonna tell any1 they're evil or anything for it. My GF's uncle is gay and I know a couple gay guys/lesbians and I don't have any problems with them. A couple of em even go to church with me. I'm not gonna call ANYONE evil for their beliefs (as long as it's not "murder is ok" or something lol), passing judgement isn't our job.

  • Nah, I never set people up. I don't like doing anything that involves negative energy.

But yah exactly. So many religious people judge others so quickly, and its just not right.

I'm glad you aren't one of those people :-)

  • alright, well I'm glad I've got some support on here, I honestly wasn't expecting much of it.

  • No problem. When you do positive for the world, it has a way of coming back to you in double the value in one way or another :-)

Keep doing what you're doing and I'm certain that you will get a lot more support :-)

  • lol thanks, the funny thing is that I'm not even sure why I started this, I mean, I watched the video and was fully prepared to go to sleep right after and then idk, I just couldn't get it outa my brain and I was never angry or really upset but I just kept feeling like I needed to make the video response or something, or like I NEEDED to say something and not just keep my mouth shut for once. and idk it feels good lol, a lil nerve racking but good none-the-less

  • Oh, I understand. I didn't care much for that guy's video either lol. I didn't even watch the whole thing. Once I figured out what his "hidden" intention was behind the video, I just stopped watching.

Due to all the negativity that guy is creating for himself, it is very likely that its going to come back and bite him in the ass very soon; if it hasn't done so already.

  • You responded with a good point in regards to the rape issue but your response to slaverywas lack luster because you missed the whole point. For god to not only condone it instead of dismissing it altogether is perposteruos. And also you tottally ignored the child abuse issue completely. and if your personal opinion is that torture is permissable as long as there is a sufficient amount of time given then so be it...

But I did like your first point and I will keep it in mind for future.

  • you may call it lackluster but the point of the slavery issue was that Gods idea of slavery is NOT your idea of slavery. it's no different than a work relationship between you and your boss would be and it's kinder and more fair then even that. It would essentially be like keeping someone in your house for free with the provision that they work for you. And I didn't directly address the child abuse because in one of his verses there's no telling whether it was a child, I indirectly talked on

  • it when I talked about Egypt. Those that were older were being punished for their sins and those that were young and had not sinned were taken to Heaven with God, which is not exactly cruelty since he took them before they sinned and therefore saved them from hell. and on "torture" you think it's unfair that you go to hell for not believing but the whole system is based on faith. If you have faith and believe you are rewarded, if you hear and don't is it right to say "ok, well heres proof cuz

  • you died, so, do you wanna believe in me and my son Jesus and accept him as your lord and saviour?" I'd bet money that very few people that get that chance after they die are gonna either say "nah, I'm good" or "no, I still don't believe" Christian try to save those who don't believe to keep them from Hell and God encourages that so less will have to suffer. Heaven is for true believers, not those who only believe because they're forced to or see that it's true after they die

  • I will respond with a video if you will allow it. If not, then i will understand. But my response would take up too much of the text comment section if i chose that mode...

  • go for it

  • I'll approve it if you choose to make it

  • hey monkieman16 , very well put, I was worried how to explain something to this guy who is against God , and I think your answer is much better than all that I had in mind. Stay alerto to this attacks and keep on helping us with your good spirit

    regards

  • *part one* Thanks for the support, I appreciate it, but I don't think that "attacks" is the right way to think of it. You can find false or different meanings in about anything and the reality is that Atheists don't believe in God and we do. When they read the Bible they don't see the positive, they catch that one verse that's like "OMG WTH?!?" first glimpse it sounds bad and it fits with their predetermined justifications for not believing. Treating them like evil attackers doesn't show our -

  • faith or philosophy. it goes against it. God wants us to love everyone, even those who sin against us and him. lead by example. They can't be expected to understand what they've never given a chance. If they don't see us believers following what we say, which is often difficult, they'll never want to give it a chance because they'll just see a bunch of talk, and that's it. and if the followers only talk the talk, why would the highest rank be any different? Respect them and they may return it

  • that's right.
