Blood elves hate the Alliance because they pretty much lost the fight with there addiction, and now feed on ALL magic, corrupted holy or otherwise. High elves are in WC as the Priests and Sorceresses you can get from the arcane sanctum. They have blue eyes. It wasn't the humans fault that the Blood Elves were exiled, it was the bastart Graithos who is racist against the Blood Elves. He exiled them for accepting aid from the Naga. So in a way, Blood Elves are Fighting the wrong Faction.

The High Elves had their sunwell and it made them almost immortal then the scourge came along and destroyed it...it clearly says in the movies that they renamed themselves the blood elves for the ghost of their ancestors.

High elves still exists they are the ones that didn't go blood elf.You can find them in a lodged tucked away in the mountains in eastern plague lands. Blood elf is more then just a name now.

that is true and also they are in alerian stronghold....its a high elf settlement. I can find them in various spots in outlands also...+ the high elfs are still with the alliance bc they like us because there civlization wouldnt exist without the humans aid. Bloodelfs=very addicted to magic and leech it off from demons since the sunwell got destroyed. Have green/yellow glowing eyes.

Highelfs=Still existing, although barely. Have either given up on magic as much as they can and gone the way of the hunter/ranger and find their source of power in nature, or they still practise magic and try to find nobler sources of power then the bloodelves (like the holy light for example). Highelves have blue glowing eyes.

umm no your thinking of the last mission in warcraft 3 the frozen throne. none of the groups at the frozen throne there were horde. The blood elves joined the horde sometime in the wow timeline because the forsaken leader was an undead high elf or at least thats one of the reasons.
