The big issue in Canada is the misunderstanding of three founding nations that need to learn to understand and appreciate each other for whom they are. For the rumbling separatist , that 's a handfull of highly influencing aristobrats that spreads this stupid attitude. French people love their country; they fear assimilation. Picture yourself loosing and fighting for your rights. Our young generation is so influenced by English culture they loose appreciation of their culture and history.
OMG There is something you doesn'T understand i think... French people absolutely doesn't have the same culture, the same language... they have nothing in common with the rest of canada... I love Canada, But it's not my home...
its wonderful to hear that. I'm born and have raised in Toronto and never once did I ever question the importance of French Canada and their history as part of the history of our nation. Whether in 1837 or 10 months ago its nice to read your comments in light of constant "separatist" rumblings.
