i used to love this game as a kid. I think i beat it :). And i remember i couldn't do the spider boss! 1 day i attempted it again and I DID IT!!! i was like holy !@#$ and i was so psyched of my new ability :)

and later on i found out how to get the special "ultimate armor"

which was really exciting too!

This is my childhood video game... However I seem to remember the game being easier for me as zero, I think that whenever I was x the bosses seemed a little tougher like the game was compensating whether you were ranged or melee

@ChrisKnerr harder?i disagree with that...X's buster is weaker,and need to be charged to do some good damage and on the other side Zero's lightsaber s much more powerful,faster and his spec technics are much more useful than X's additional weapons+Z's saber has about 190 deg. range of attack.

@mazanakaUA I think the final bosses are much harder as Zero. I could never beat the game as Zero, but I could including all the upgrades with X.

@Eifler121 for beating Sigma with zero see videos here on youtube.Nothing special rly.for me only real problem was Black-virus-boss in x5,and stage in x4 with many spikes(don't remember it's name through)

ps:and yea,I played this games for myself(just in case)

pps:for me-hard games are the ones on nes and sega...Contra,C hard corps,double dragon 3 on nes,ninja gaiden 1-3(also nes)Rush'n'Attack,Comix Zone and many others-that was really hard games

@mazanakaUA I believe you. The rest of the game isn't hard, just harder than as Megaman. Sigma's final form was the only one I never beat, however the final video seemed familiar to me when I watched it. Comix Zone is hard because you are just as vulnerable as the villains.

This game had the best everything. When the stage begins and it says "READY" sounds dope. How did they manage to fuck that up on X5 when they say "READY" sounds like an alien. X4 had alot of energy wit the music and voice and everything.

At first, I thought it was easier with X, since growing up, I was so used to playing as X. In the end, I was able to beat the game only with Zero. Now I can beat the game with both, but it's still easier for me to beat the game wit Zero.

zero was a great character to play with if u played the old megaman games, he was a great change up, x4 was a great innovation of the franchise cuz you could play the entire game as zero. it's more fun with X cuz u get all the secrets, u can get all the capsules and it's fun to figure out where they are, i get a sense of accomplishment when i find a capsule, with zero there is no feeling of accomplishment like that, there's no "hooray i found a secret!", but he is great and fun to play with :)

I actually find the game better to play with Zero he's just much more fun to use and very playable. A little sluggish but I can play with him well. X isn't really any fun to play with till you get all his capsules.

I agree to both of you as well. Zero is my favorite character out of the entire Mega Man series. His controls are hard at first but once you get used to it and have alot of the maverick upgrades for him, he's only amazing character to choose.
