  • I was actually in the cage with Eric holding his kick drum still in this video. I was teching for King's X and Galactic Cowboys.

  • Great album by GC. Monty Colvin on bass - what a monster!

  • Such a great band

You lucky guys in the US will be getting the 3 reunion shows

  • monty could be a Dallas Stars fan? Like Doug Pinnick is:

  • i have only heard this band onse in my life before.a petra tribute song. not of this world i think. great band. now i will look at more videos of them

  • I have the best Galactic Cowboys videos, much better than any on here

  • You have one GC video, and it's a live clip. Fail!

  • I agree Farkas aint all that but GC is about energy and catchy hooks. Machine Fish and At the End of the Day are great albums.

  • Machine fish was a great album, unfortunately their last. They must have taken some wrong turn before bud bought his horse.

  • i agree, but my life is a great song

  • No where near a knock to GC but haas anyone ever noticed a slight resemblence between Ben Huggins and Triple H from WWE? I met Ben on quite a few occasions and you could't meet a cooler guy! Love the Cowboys!!!

  • GALACTIC COWBOYS never age...

  • wally farkas ruined this band. He is a below average guitar player and it inhibited the band. They needed to get a more accomplished player. Farkas is one step above a 13 year old garage band guitarist. I really want to like this band cause their first two cd's were great, and at the end of the day and parts of machine fish were good, bur farkas limits the band!

  • Are you kidding? Listen to the solo at the end of Ranch On Mars Pt. 2(Set me Free) from At the End of the Day. Then get back to us.

  • ok, at this moment my itunes is open and I am going to listen to that solo and comment on it here as I hear it, but a few things while I wait for the solo to get here. This is him playing on a version of an older song, with the other guitar player. Ok, it is here, the slow parts are cool, very good, but this last part where he tries to jam just goes no where, and it was a relatively short solo, but I just do not like his writing, it just sounds like a demo or unfinished.

  • Well maybe it's not the most mind-blowing, technical marvel of a guitar solo ever put to tape, but it was always a favorite of mine for the feel, the soul, the emotion, call that intangible whatever you like. Of course, that is the one thing in music that is 100% pure subjectivity. What some people call soul others call wankery, or flat-out lack of skill. Oh well, cheers regardless.

PS: Monty Colvin a hockey fan? Very cool.

  • Actually maybe the other 3 guys ruined the band since they were the ones that wrote everything on the first two albums...but since I have a personal agenda here, I'm just gonna post the same thing under every Galactic Cowboys video --- even the ones Wally isn't on. Then I'm gonna sit back and comb my mullet.

  • Wally played what the song called for, & never felt pressure to try & match Dane's more technical "shred" sound. Both guitarists rule at what they do, but are from different eras of the band's sound. Both guitarists were in the right place at the right time musically. I'm sure had Dane played on THTBB, he could match Wally's writing & feel (he did end up in a blues-rock band), & I'm sure Wally could do more technical stuff but duh, he doesn't play thrash so why would he put in a thrash solo?

  • hehe cool. This is from the GD GC DVD set I compiled a few years ago. You can tell because it has the slight letterboxing that I had to add in order to cover video flagging. Anyway, I just wish I could have completed the set... the video to Feel the Rage is too hard to get, and I didn't get Amused until it came to iTMS.

  • Er No. I ripped this myself from a metalblade Promo video compilation VHS tape.

  • The original tape does not have the letterboxing. Where do you think I got it?

  • Get over yourself, anyone who knows what they are doing can crop out those dots when doing a final encode.

  • I clicked on Third's name and his account has been terminated due to multiple copyright infringement violations. Could that be a clue that he did not compile an official Galactic Cowboys DVD set?

  • Wasn't Feel the Rage just a live video and not an actual concept music video?

  • Who knows! The only way to get it is in the Metal Blade anniversary box set and that runs over $100 even today. There's some cool stuff in that set too, King's X stuff as well, but still... urgh... a Benjamin... that's a lot.

  • I just found their Feel the Rage music video here on Youtube. It's not a bad video.

  • re: The drummer in this video/tour.

Most die hard GC fans know only one side of this artist's inspiring story.

  • blame it on my evil twin!!!!! GC ROCKED!

  • Anybody out there have the video for "If I Were A Killer" - if you do, PLEASE UPLOAD IT!!!

  • Space in Your Face wasn't bad album either. Never seen them live.

  • from their best album-no bad tracks on it...

  • I remember when I saw King's X on tour in NJ in 1998. I had never heard of the Galactic Cowboys. When these guys got on stage they were absolutely AMAZING. I have loved them ever since :)

A few days after the show I ended up buying every Galactic Cowboys album that I could find!

  • legends..

  • I saw them on tour, loved this song then....LOVE it now..... !!! Wish they would get back together !!

  • I think i saw them on this tour.
