no they are only illegal in certain states....maine...arizona...Ca­lifornia...Georgia...Hawaii and Pennsylvania. Sorry if you live in those states looks like you cant own a little cute hedgehog. However i think its legal to breed in those states only if you sell them outside the state.

Hello!! u listen?!?! she said some parts of the U.S. are illegsl! so not all the the U.S. is legal. the states that are illegal is like Maine, Vermont, California, Pennsliviana,

Hawaii,

Araizona, and Georgia. so if u live there y may be able tog et a permit but not always.
