I hear ya on the teaching front - this time of year I always tell myself that I'll change things and things will be different in the new school year starting in April, but even tho my co-workers change, the Japanese attitude toward education doesn't change and that old frustration creeps back in everytime... *sigh* Too large a topic for a comment box... :) Good luck on your grad papers and have a good Spring Break! I'm coming to Osaka to watch sumo!! :D

This is my second attempt at an MA and I am considering a run toward a Phd. And if I've learned one thing, its to take a break between each phase of our continuing education. Otherwise burnout is inevitable. So take your time before you decide what the next phase is.
