This is a style of herding that is mainly done by border collies with the whitsle. however any dog can be trained to her. I have been doing htis for 12 years. and i have seen rotts, pitbulls, as well as many other breeds herd

I know nothing about herding sheep but I love the dog! He is wonderful.

we just got a sheep dog today my had has wanted one since we mover from wales to canada 10 years ago.we had over 1500 sheep with 3 collies now im starting my own lil sheep farm and it will be good to have a heard dog around, we also live on a 180 milking cow dairy farm and its gonna be nice not having to run up and down in the bush after cows that get out.
