lol you wrong! because if you have a "quiet" gearbox with no silencer, you can feel the difference ;) the rapid decompression of air make the classic "POP" at the end of the barrel...try yourself! my aug without it is really loud..

@MegaFragger suppressors may slightly lower the tone of the muzzle report - which maybe of more use at longer ranges. However since we're referring to the P90 here, which is meant for CQC. At close ranges the sound coming from a running motor is a lot more audible - something which can not be hidden by a suppressor.

"The silencer costs more than the gun..." So why buy it if its for an airsoft gun and defeats the purpose of what the gun is for? Its not like the silencer has a purpose on what is esentially an older childs toy. Is it just to spend money? Why not take the money that was put into that gun and most likely others you have purchased and buy a real P90? Shooting a real gun is far better.

@YoshiLover2012 the p90 shoots a FN 5.7x28 it is a rare bullet but not super hard to find ( i have like 5 military stores around me) what makes it rare is that only FN makes it, the round has only been in America since 2003. you can get a 9x19nato conversion kit for the p90 making the it easier to find the ammo.

I KNOW! Mind as well own a PS-90 (civilian version). the bullet doesnt weigh enough when going Subsonic to do much damage. A .22lr does more damage than the 5.7mm subsonic round

@Dirtymurder The p90 has a high rate of fire but low stopping power. The military special forces commonly use the mp5 because of its rate of fire is average and its stopping power is high. And because of the collapsable stock with light weight and accuracy mp5 is adopted by allmost all of the countries.

At least with the p90 the suppressor just increases the length to that of an armalite carbine. In addition, in the close quarters of indoor combat, a regular rifle has more points to grapple on while the p90 with the hands positioned at the front, has very little leverage for the opfor

or how about the fact that there is no such thing as a "silencer" (Nothing will completely silence the sound). They are called suppressors (they suppress the sound), which are completely legal. Hollywood calls them silencers and so does the law, but there is legal precedent that shows that you can own a suppressor in most states. All because of bad terminology.
