I'd rather be a homeowner with an e46 M3, rather than a renter with a 335i. Too many other good things to be thankful for rather than being the fastest car on the road. Besides there will always be something faster. But if you can have the new model go for it if that what make you feel fulfilled.
You say that like everyone has the same income. Many that buy 335i's do it as an alternative to an M5 for $20K more. The 335 may not be cheap, but neither is a decent M3. The 335i offers more bang for the buck right now. They are one of the cheapest cars to modify right now thanks to Burger Tuning and with a few mods they can hang with the new m3 and M5.

You must have burned your clutch completely with a sh*tty launch. You were riding the f**ck out of the clutch. No wonder you lost because your clutch was slipping like insane at higher speeds.

I'm a M3 driver for over years and let me tell you...the M3 is one of the best cars in the world. The guy driving the M3 in this video does not know how to shift or run a racing car. Sorry to disappoint you, but even the official BMW numbers regarding 0-100km/h and 0-200km/h say that the E9x 335i are faster than E46/E36 M3. My neighbors has an M collection (every ever produced M modell) and onyl the new M3 can beat the 335i.

Due to obvious weight and aerodynamics. im not sure where you got those numbers but they are skewed.
I dosnt depend on the driver. The M3 E46 SMG faster. Its a clear win! I know I do it often. The 335 is an amazing car! But its no M3. Only depends on the driver if the M3 is manual - if you cant out drag a 335 in an SMG M3 you should go bitch slap your self you have no place in a performance car! lol Not you AETraviezo I mean anyone who cant drive a manual M3 how it should be driven.
