I'd like to point out that Maddy is absolutely wrong about Obama "suspending" his campaign, the campaign still runs, he's just only canceling a few trips to cities he wanted to rally at. Michelle is out there helping to campaign for him for the time being. If anyone tries to compare Obama's so-called "suspension" of his campaign to that of John McCain's is a fucktarted douche-bag.
Well, if you compare the suspension of Obama's campaign compared to McCain's, it is in fact a suspension. McCain left the trail to "save America" but let his campaign keep...campaigning. Obama's doing the same.
To suspend would mean to halt everything you're doing right now for the moment. Whether or not McCain's campaign did halt on many levels, he's always for the dramatic, a trait that has in this case, set him back in the race, especially when he side-lined in Washington in the bailout proposal plan and then ended up throwing the monkey wrench into the works at the last minute. The only good that came out of that incident was a fluke that caused the legislation to revise the plan a bit more.
I can see it now grandma says is that you b.o.? You filthy racist didn't i raise u better than that? How am i going to heaven? Did you bring your children to that racist church. Is that hateful wife making you do things that you don't want to do?
Know the truth the neocons corrupt: Andy Martin is once again trying to out Sen. Obama's birth certificate in a feeble attempt to disprove the legitimacy of his campaign. The facts are, Sen. Obama's birth certificate has already been circulated, the man is fully vetted as a natural born citizen of the United States. Andy Martin is wasting his time to whip up some kind of pathetic fervor amidst the willing sheep that listen to his near-libel.
Why do you hang up on "typical white"? He has a black grandmother in Kenya and a white grandmother in Hawaii. So what's wrong with the simple description, "typical white person"? Or what is wrong with you? Take your bullshit stories somewhere else please.
What's wrong with McCain taking advantage of this situation. Haven't you ever heard the phrase, "All's fair in love and war"? This is a good opportunity for John to up the rhetoric on Obama's socialism to the level of communism. After all, that's what he's talking about, "redistributing the wealth" of real Americans and giving it to the poor non-real Americans. They should all move to Mexico or wherever and let real Americans prosper as God has planned.
You are all that is wrong with America. How about you move to Mexico ware the wealth is only 10% and the poor is 60%. That is ware America is headed with republican tax plans.
Under Obama's plan, only the top two tax brackets will rise and those will rise by 3% and 6% respectively, rolling by the Bush tax cuts from '01-04 back to where they were in 2000.
What does McCain really think about that?
McCain himself opposed the Bush tax cuts of 2001. He said, "I cannot in good conscience support a tax cut in which so many of the benefits go to the most fortunate among us, at the expense of middle-class Americans." (WSJ, Oct 18)
In fact, in 1999, Mr. McCain opposed efforts to change the earned-income tax credit, which gives payments to the working poor, and called it a "much-needed tax credit for working Americans." And in this campaign, he has proposed to use the tax code to do more such "wealth-spreading." Mr. McCain's health-care plan provides for "refundable" tax credits. (from the WSJ article "Scare Talk on Taxes")
You can't have it both ways. If Obama is a "socialist", then McCain is one too.
This is a non-political personal situation, If someone over on the McCain campaign decides to turn this into a political cause for criticism it would just show how LOW a point the McCain folks had reached.
This whole situation is completely non-political, McCains folks should have nothing to say about it. "But these days who can tell".
In one interview, Obama said he's like to spend more time with his grandmother after the elections were over - we all want the right to be with our family when they are ill - this is a normal priority for any of us. I can't imagine anyone expecting to not vote for Obama for taking time to care for his grandmother.

If anyone makes fun of or takes shots at Obama's grandmother they clearly are sick human beings. Barack Obama will bring real change.

Obama is flying to Hawaii to visit his "typical white" grandma now that Andy Martin is in Hawaii doing some investigating.
Know the truth the media hides, Google Andy Martin!

Isn't Andy Martin the guy that was denied his law license based on the fact that he has mental issues? Didn't he also spend time in jail?

Would you say that if McCain's 90+ yr old mother was in the same situation?
